"Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored"--Aldous Huxley
Until he admits he’s a lying bastard and drops out of the campaign, I’m not relenting. It’s gonna be all-Kerry, all the time here at Leatherneckm31.
... and I’m asking all readers to support the real, bona fide Vietnam vets over at http://www.swiftvets.com/.
We’ve got this slug on the run and it’s now time to press our advantage.
The end of John F. Kerry’s career has been brought about by the "new media"… the blogosphere, the internet, and talk radio… the result of the complete and utter failure of the national "major" news media to do it’s constitutionally-protected job.
As if any additional proof were needed, the manner in which the biased weasels in the Dem-lackey media have attacked the Swifties leaves not a single doubt of the collusion between socialists in politics and the socialists in the news business. To win in November President Bush will have had to defeat, not the democratic party candidate, but as well, the publishing industry, millionaire socialists like George Sorros, the news media, labor unions and the Mafia, the trial lawyers, Hollywood, the academics and on and on.
Back to Kerry…
Like the typical dem coward he is, Kerry cannot refute the Swifties’ charges so he orders pond sum ambulance chasers to file a complaint against them with the Federal Election Commission… an honest man and a real hero could dispense with all this in about five minutes.
Just call a press conference and hand out copies of his entire military record… every single page… as did President Bush.
Ain’t gonna happen because it would prove his "wounds" were paper cuts, it would prove he was never in Cambodia… it would prove that no one witnessed his "heroics" other than men who are now props for his campaign photo ops, and that as senior officer onboard his craft… Kerry wrote himself up. Simple as that.
He told the VFW the other day…
"Let me make this clear ... for 35 years I have stood up, and fought, and kept faith with my fellow veterans ... as president I will stand with you to complete that mission."
Here’s what he said in 1971…
"We will not quickly join those who march on Veterans Day waving small flags, calling to memory those thousands who died for the 'greater glory of the United States.' ... We will not readily join the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars."
And before the United States Senate in '71:
"The country doesn't know it yet, but it has created a monster, a monster in the form of millions of men who have been taught to deal and to trade in violence, and who are given the chance to die for the biggest nothing in history ... They had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, tape wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.\
That’s far worse than Clinton saying he "loathed the military."
Kerry’s support among veterans has dropped 18% since the Swifties began their assault. If any Vietnam veteran out there still supports this waste of skin, please post a comment and send me a copy your DD214.
And speaking of… Lying Tom Harkin called Dick Cheney a coward the other day because he didn’t serve in Vietnam. The biased media gave him a pass… why? Because Tom Harkin (a democrat of course) is another sack of crap wannabe who was exposed long ago for claiming he served in Vietnam… and get this… for flying "combat" missions over Cuba.
However... Harkin's Navy record shows his only decoration is the National Defense Service Medal; that’s it, that’s all. Anyone breathing and in uniform between 1 Jan. 1961 and 14 Aug. 1974 got one. He did not receive either the Vietnam Service medal or the Vietnam Campaign medal, the decorations given to everyone who served in the Southeast Asia theater. "We didn't get them for what we did," Mr. Harkin says. "It's never bothered me."
"Warrior" Harkin quotes:
"One year was in Vietnam. I was flying F-4s and F-8s on combat air patrols and photo-reconnaissance support missions. I did no bombing."
How long did he rack up in ‘Nam? "I wouldn't really know," he says. He estimated that over a period of about 12 months he flew in and out of Vietnam "a dozen times, maybe 10 times."
How about no times you horse’s ass?
These are the same people who attempted to steal the 2000 election by trying to exclude votes of overseas service members; these are the people who’s first thought in an American election was to get "300 lawyers in the ground." Hell, even Dick Nixon didn’t contest the ’60 election when the mob and Mayor Daily got tens of thousands of dead Chicagoans to vote for Jack Kennedy.
This proves one thing… Dick Nixon was a better American than Algore and John Kerry.
Here's the faux JFK building a national rep as an anti-war GI...
"I committed the same kinds of atrocities as thousands of others," said Kerry as an anti-war activist guest on NBC’s Meet the Press (quoted in Brinkley’s book, page 362) after he returned stateside, "in that I shot in free fire zones, fired .50-caliber machine [gun] bullets, used harass-and-interdiction fire, joined in search-and-destroy missions, and burned villages. All of these acts are contrary to the laws of the Geneva Convention, and all were ordered as written, established policies from the top down, and the men who ordered this are war criminals."
Ah, Kerry the good German… just following zee orders. But wait… Kerry’s Irish… no, Jewish…no, whatever.
Such a man is obviously unfit to be President of the United States. As an admitted war criminal he should not be allowed to run for the nation’s highest office until he faces those charges in a world court.
It’s the truth is matters… not the motives of those who insist the emperor has no clothes.

But BJ............you may be the biggest cheerleader but, the important thing is..........do you have pom poms? LOL R/Di

It is all about character.
If this man lied about his short stay in Nam and his war service accomplishments, then what else is he lying about?
Now I see he/DNC is trying to suppress free
speech on the publishing of the book and the airing of ad, trying to keep both from the public. If he succeeds in this what kind of
President would he make?? Suppressing free speech, think about it. This is one of the freedoms our military fought and died for.
I soured on him when he turned his back on the young men from his state that were molested by the priests and he did not call for the resignation of Cardinal Law. Those young men and their parents are his
constituents. But they are not as powerful as the Catholic Church.

Just read where someone reviewing Kerry's DD-214 noticed that under decorations there is listed Silver Star Medal with "V" device. Seems strange since the "V" device is never used on a Silver Star. Go figure!

Kerry is definitely showing signs of imploding.
I really can't believe how many people are either not hearing about all of this or are actually BUYING the B.S. he and his campaign staff are pushing.
Well, onward and upward. We will keep this moving as much as possible.

You would be a lot more effective if poison didn't drip off your every word. But your writing style, shameless name-calling, and finger-pointing just comes off as the words of a sore loser. I'm not sure what you've lost, but maybe you're preparing for a drubbing come November 2nd. I think the gentleman doth protest too much.
What I wonder is, if Mr. Kerry is elected, is one un-American to oppose him so vociferously while there are troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and while we fight terrorists?

Whew. Who would've thought all that Basic Training brainwashing would stick with a person for so long?
Just to silence the critics, I was RIF'ed out of the USAR's 4/20th FA BN in 1992 as part of the "peace dividend."
Back to the President and John Kerry's war records...
At least Kerry went. I don't care what else you or anyone says, Bush used daddy and grandpa to avoid going.
The Swiftvets don't impress me much. A bunch of officers that didn't serve on Kerry's boat saying that a bunch of enlisted men that did are lying? Let's see, best guess we've got a tie... except that the Navy itself decided to give Kerry the medals.
As far as taxes making you a Republican, what's up with Dubya? I thought balanced budgets, not getting involved in nation-building and shrinking government intrusion into our life were Republican ideals? I've been a Republican since 1983, but this year, I've got to go for Kerry.
"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government." Edward Abbey
PS Did you hear about the tragic fire at the George Bush library?
I guess both books burned... and he hadn't even colored in one of them yet.
