Brief review: Liked Part II of Path to 9/11 better than first half. Overall it was well-done and for a docudrama (for the benefit of the DNC and the Florida Supreme Court, that means it's an entertainment based on real events; thus, not a doc*u*ment*aree) it succeeded in all aspects.
The editing ordered by the Clinton wussies was deeper than promised by ABC, but overall, the point was made. The Clintonistas failed every way from Sunday on terrorism and must take 80 percent of the blame for 3,000 dead people on 9/11.
The Liar-in-Chief said that all he wanted from "Path to 9/11" was "the truth." I can't begin to find the space for the hundreds of easy retorts to that laughable statement. It must suffice that a convicted perjurer demanding the truth is just too too Jack Nicholson to take seriously.
You can bet your blue dress on it.
Meanwhile.... The President is being savaged by the the leader of the United Auto Workers for.... wait for it... meeting with singer Clay Aiken, the man with especially gravity-defying loafers. The reason?
Chief of UAW, Ron Gettelfinger, said it was "ludicrous" that Bush had no time for the car industry, but managed to find the time to tap Clay Aiken, the runner-up on the popular U.S. reality talent show "American Idol," to serve on the President's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

Well, how can it get funnier than the President preferring a man qualified to head the Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities over union thuggies?

Good news from Iraq... the Diggers have kicked major ass.
Their Spec Ops guys tossed more than 150 Taliban and al-Qaida fighters into body bags (a waste of good rubber) in the biggest firefight the Aussies have seen since 'Nam. Only a half-dozen of the Australian commandos were wounded after a nine-day brutal fight in southern Afghanistan.
A number of soldiers will receive gallantry medals for their bravery. And best of all for them, the involved units will rotate home later this month; but that's bad for us. I love the Aussies.
Oh, this is rich....
(News Item): "Gloria Steinem and actress Jane Fonda, have launched an all-women, all-talk network across the United States. Steinem said the network, which is run by women, aims to provide an alternative to current radio talk, which she describes as "very argumentative, quite hostile, and very much male-dominated.
"This network "has a different spirit. It has more community. It's more about information, about humor, about respect for different points of view and not constant arguing," Steinem told Reuters. But they hope to attract male listeners as well.
I'm sorry... what was she saying?
Speaking of playing the female card... Miss Perky over at CBS went from first to last in the network nightly news derby, losing 5.5 millions viewers and finishing third behind NBC and ABC... all in six days!
Atta girl.... we are wymin, hear us roar!!! I guess $15 mil don't buy you as much as it used to....
And speaking of a big budget... I had to fill up my truck today and the damned robber barons @ Big Oil ripped be off again because they gouge everybo....
... just a minute... uh, ticket says I filled up for $2.26/gal.
Well... I'm sure they are gouging, just like they did five weeks ago when I filled up for $3.06/gal. They must have like a $2 a gallon profit margin and well, Congress needs to investigate this or something immediately.
News Item: PARIS (Reuters) - "French youngsters are smoking and drinking less but are increasingly indulging in the sort of weekend drinking binges usually associated with their British counterparts, according to a government study."
This is great... with any luck they'll eventually beat each other to death at a soccer game.
Will be on the road again for a few days... couple of reunions in Colorado... one high school and the other, my fast pitch softball team from the 70s. Some of the greatest days of my life in small town America, and a cast of characters worthy of Damon Runyon.
I'll write about them one of these days.
Will try to post from the road....
Continued death and destruction to all subhuman raghead terrorists... as per the Aussies.

Whine, wymin and song<-------that's what i was looking for

We really can blame the Clintons for 9/11. But, I don't want to. The same stuff could have happened with any number of folks in office. I blame the Clintons for having that damn naive mindset. But alot of folks had that mindset. The frightening thing is how some folks still have it.
