All the king's horses and all the king's men.....

Hillarywideeyed Conservatives haven't had this many belly laughs since Dukakis donned the helmet to go tank driving back in 1988.

Most of us don't have time to keep up with which dem these days is calling what other dem a "racist", "loser", "sell-out", and worst of all, the "progressives" now take offense if someone refers to them as liberals (See: Clinton, Hillary). I prefer "Marxist" myself.

Our work may be done... far left blog The Daily Kos is ripping Hillary like she was Barry AuH20.

So rather than trying to comment on most of the continuing good news, I've just borrowed these links from today's Drudge:

Sen. Bob Casey to endorse Obama, join bus tour...
Dean: Bickering Dems May Hurt Party...
Angry Pelosi stands firm on superdelegates...
Leahy says Clinton should drop out of race...
POLL: Obama leads Clinton nationally by 10...
Joe Klein: Give It To Gore...

Traitorss Traitors du jour:

Federal prosecutors say Saddam Hussein’s intelligence agency secretly financed a trip to Iraq for three U.S. lawmakers during the run-up to the U.S.-led invasion.

Democratic Reps. "Baghdad" Jim McDermott, Washington; David Bonior, Michigan; and Mike Thompson, California, are the three democrats giving aid and comfort to the enemy

The indictment filed in Detroit targets former Saddam henchman Muthanna Al-Hanooti for arranging for the October 2002 Iraq trip for the trio of traitors at the behest of the Iraqi dictatorship; furthermore, Iraqi intelligence officials paid for the trip through an intermediary.

Naturally, the democrat trio pleads ignorance of the travel arrangements.

No news is good news for the leftist news media.

Remember the last five years when a single IED would lead the evening news? Remember when the agenda-driven MSM screamed "we're losing" right along with Pelosi, Reid and Murtha?

Traitor_3And now... have you noticed that like Pavlovs' dogs a majority of voters automatically say "health care" when asked what campaign issue is most important, and "the war" ranks down there with forgotten terms like "infrastructure, "bridges", "levees" and Sen. Larry Craig?

The truth of tail-wags-dog prevails when we examine the coverage the war has and hasn't gotten.

From the Pew Research Center:

"From January 2007 -- when Bush announced the "surge" -- through the end of May 2007, Iraq had been the dominant story, accounting for 20% of all the news coverage measured by PEJ's News Coverage Index. But from the time of that May funding vote through the war's fifth anniversary on March 19, 2008, coverage plunged by about 50%. In that period, the media paid more than twice as much attention to the presidential campaign as it did to the war."

"In the first three months of 2008, coverage of the campaign outstripped coverage of the war by a margin of more than 10-to-1 (43% of the newshole compared with 4%). In an environment in which newsroom cutbacks and decreasing resources may make it more difficult for news outlets to stay atop two ongoing mega-stories, the media, for now, have made their priorities clear."

Cutting to the chase... before the "surge", when things were tough in Iraq, war coverage was 25 percent of MSM news; but now that the surge has achieved substantial success and pacification, and some young Marines are complaining that "there's nobody to shoot."... the MSM war news dropped to three percent last February.

Public opinion doesn't drive the news coverage in this country... the news media dives public opinion.

Sheep disgust me.

Done... done, and ... done

Obama_smoke Okay, class.

Let's review and remember there'll be a quiz on Friday.

Speaking as a typical white man, I don't know how to ack around my African-American brothers and sistahs; so, I'd like to advise all white politicians of the out that Barry O has given us.

If the blacks start climbing your frame for not believing that AIDS was cooked up by the CIA in a lab and injected into black hookers and junkies long before The Company fertilizer-bombed the Big Easy levees to drown the entire Ninth Ward, all you have to say is "I'm playing the grandmother card."

Which is... "Like Barry's grandma, I can't help anything I say or do because I was bred that way; I'm just a cracker."

I know, Jimmy The Greek had to be put in the witness protection program because he said that blacks "were bred" for strength and speed.

I wish just one person had said that about me... ever.

Don Imus was electronically tarred and feathered for calling Rutgers' 80% black basketball team "nappy-headed hos"; had Chris Rock made the remark, it would have evoked laughter, and the black Scarlet Knights would have laughed their pronounced asses off.

ChrisrockWe live in a world in which anything a white person says or does upsets, angers, offends, or sends a black to the nearest attorney's office....

I say, just relax and ignore them; as a group (not as individuals) in this society, they hardly matter anyway.

And now, The White Bitch.

Hillary claims she's Rambette.

I get a little testy when people claim they were "under fire"... and they weren't.

The former first lady is no different than Algore, John F. Kerry or former Sen. Max Cleland. They can claim all manner of heroics, but the truth is a might different critter.

When pinned down about her "harrowing" time under "sniper fire"... she had only this:

"I did make a mistake in talking about it, you know, the last time and recently," Clinton told reporters in Pennsylvania where she was campaigning. She said she had a 'different memory' about the landing.

"So I made a mistake. That happens. It proves I'm human, which, you know, for some people, is a revelation."

"This is really about what policy experience we have and who's ready to be commander-in-chief. And I'm happy to put my experience up against Senator Obama's any day."

Uh-huh.

The woman is a lying. She had "no idea" Bill was schtupping every bimbo in sight.. uh huh..

TommyAnd some people actually want this dim bulb answering the 3 a.m. phone.

McCain must get up every day, saying "I'can't believe this is so easy."

On to the more important....

"No Country for Old Men" is a very, very good film.

It is worthy of all the accolades and the awards. See it.

I'll admit to being an undying fan of "The Brothers" -- the Cohens.

But this is the Big League....

If you live in West Texas... live in Texas... understand living in Texas or America)... and are older than 50, this film is for you.

Heroes and charlatans

Good1_2 First, an important news alert followed by the usual... down below the ribbon:

President Bush will present another Medal of Honor to the family of a Navy SEAL killed in Iraq as early as April 8.

The latest Recipient, 22-year-old Michael A. Monsoor or California, gave his life to save his comrades during battle in Ramadi, Oct. 29, 2006.

And two WII Medal of Honor Recipients, Shizuya Hayashi, and Richard McCool, have passed away in the last three weeks.

We now stand at 105.

These stories can be accessed on my Medal of Honor blog.

                                      Ribbonmoh_small

A very amusing book or 20 will emerge from the 2008 Demolition Party race for the presidency.

Jamescarvilleassmeagol_2 Bill Clinton, heretofore our first black president, is accused of playing the race card; his wife, HRH Hillary! has apologized for being a racist; James "Serpent Head" Carville, left, blasted New Mexico's El Jefe Bill Richardson a "Judas"... on Easter no less... for jumping ship and endorsing Barry Obama.

"An act of betrayal"," hissed Carville.

Hillary cried for the first time and then seemed unable or unwilling to stop crying... claiming that she was being picked on because she was a girl.

She bitched slapped Bill into campaign silence about three weeks ago after he called Obama a "Jesse Jackson", and now he is probably up in Canada seeing his latest paramour whom he'll probably marry after Hil is back in the Senate working on a new version of her socialist health care program.

Meanwhile, Obama, one of the few real African-Americans in the nation, won't be welcome at his grammy's house for Thanksgiving, and he's been endorsed by the Black Panthers who think that Rev. Jeremiah Wright is just another Uncle Tom.

Moss_otis In a hemp sidebar: The new pastor of Obama's church, the down-home named Rev. Otis Moss III, (who opts for Malcolm X attire) defended his predecessor, comparing Wright to Jesus, and saying, "No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching.”

"If I was Ice Cube I’d say it a little differently — ‘You picked the wrong folk to mess with,’” Moss said to an enthusiastic congregation, standing up during much of the sermon, titled “How to Handle a Public Lynching.”

Huh?

Oh, and he told everyone to contribute to the "Resurrection Fund” so the church could defend itself, well against typical white folks in the media.

But the hands down, funniest exchange of the campaign has been between very unlikely opponents... Hillary and has-been comic, Sinbad.

Sin Short on any experience--especially foreign policy experience-- Clinton said repeatedly in her stump speech, "We used to say in the White House that if a place is too dangerous, too small or too poor, send the First Lady."

Clinton recalled that she remembers "landing under sniper fire" in a 1996 USO trip to Bosnia and that "we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." She even described a "harrowing, cork-screw" landing by helicopter.

The problem with the story, other than being a lie of course, was that Sinbad, Sheryl Crow, a singer, and First Daughter Chelsea were on the same trip.

Sinbad's had a much different recollection of the Bosnia trip; he told reporters that the "scariest" part of the trip was worrying about whether "we eat here or at the next place."

Crowsherylphotosherylcrow6225890 Clinton stood by her story and jumped in the gutter, calling Sinbad... "a comedian".

Say what? Sinbad retorted: "What kind of president would say, 'Hey, man, I can't go 'cause I might get shot so I'm going to send my wife...oh, and take a guitar player and a comedian with you.'"

Most sane people have been on to the Clintons since 1990; so it's amusing as hell to see her stripped of the First Lady force shields and "her" media forced to report the truth for perhaps the very first time.

The book on Hillary, like Oakland is, "there's no 'there', there" and now everyone is forced to admit it.

Nancy_pelosi On the Democrat-controlled Congressional front... showing brilliant and deft foreign policy chops, San Fran Gram Nan Pelosi meets with the Dalai Lama who is in exile in India from Tibet, and who has said that he will "resign" his position in the non-existent government of a non-existent country which is occupied and run by Chinese communists which in turn all work for Wal-Mart..... IF China doesn't shape up and act right very soon.

I feel like meditating and snorting some sandalwood incense.

And... click here for Hillary finally snaps; well-worth it.
