News Item: WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court yesterday declined to hear a constitutional challenge to the Pentagon's "don't ask, don't tell" policy banning openly gay people from serving in the U.S. military, a move that effectively leaves it to the Obama administration to resolve the issue.
Yes, good news.... but only temporary.
Actually Obama is glad SCOTUS didn't accept the hearing; this way he doesn't have to take more heat from the hard left when the administration would have to defend "don't ask, don't tell" in court.
The only reason this issue continues to be forced on the military is the left's desire to socially engineer all aspects of society to "prove" homosexuality is "normal".

It's simple, really-- gays are not willing to accept "DA/DT" because it requires them only to keep their sexual preferences to themselves; and that would defeat the entire purpose of their political ambitions. As a group, the activists are not sincere about wanting to serve their country; first and foremost, they want to promote their left wing agenda, and then cry discrimination.
They've made their bed, let them sleep under it.
The dykes and the queens will drone on and on about the above, but cannot summon an ounce of outrage for our enemies' inhumanity.

Breaking News: Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is resting her broken ankle, having senators come see her in the Capitol instead of hobbling through hallways to visit them.
Sotomayor broke her ankle after stumbling in the airport for a flight from New York to Washington.
Limbaugh opined... "I hope she can find 'a wise Latina' doctor to set that ankle as opposed to an average white doctor because the wise Latina doctor is much richer experience with broken ankles, and would probably do a much better job of setting that ankle than an average white doctor who has not lived the rich experiences of a Latina med student and resident."
Of course, a wise, white, male nominee would not be stupid enough to run in high heels (except some male physicians in the military--see above).
Come to think of it, I'm sure that being such a richly experienced, wise, FOC (female of color), she'll choose a likewise-credentialed slip and fall ambulance chaser to bring suit against the airport.
One thing is certain... Hillary Clinton who has almost as much rich experience to be a Supreme Court Justice (were it not for being white) would never break her ankle... they're unbreakable.
