Touted for her fashion sense, The Predator embraces all the style savvy of well, Big Bird on a bad day. If you are a woman of size and capable of bucking up against Shaq in the paint, and a back porch you could Shakespeare from, perhaps canary yellow isn’t a good color choice… I’m just sayin’.

 

And while It is my policy not to pick on public figures’ children, I do stand up for them; below is a clear case of child pimping by the First Lady and what’s his name.

(An aside: since “firsts” in First Families are so all-fired important, it is clear that Michelle Obama is and will forever be “The Most Gigantic First Lady in History.”)

While Obama struggles to reinvigorate the G8 summit in Italy, his elder daughter, Malia, has apparently launched her own campaign to educate the planet about nukes; given the sartorial scrutiny the First Family is always under, it seems unlikely that the T-shirt was paraded around the streets by accident.

The kid looks like Euro-trash, not a member of America’s First Family.

Plus I’m starting to see the first indications that the young lady is entering that lovely age parents detest…. The Wise-Ass, Petulant Spoiled Kid Age. I know it, I recognize it, I lived it.

Here’s a funny, ironic and also serious decision on the part of the federal government…. bitch-slapping Barry Obama, his Marxist philosophy and his writing.

Supermax Prison Says Obama's Book Objectionable, Won't Let Prisoners Read Them....

McLEAN, Va. — The federal government's most secure prison has determined that two books written by President Barack Obama contain material "potentially detrimental to national security" and rejected an inmate's request to read them.

Ahmed Omar Abu Ali is serving a 30-year sentence at the federal Supermax prison in Florence, Colo., for joining al-Qaida and plotting to assassinate then-President George W. Bush. Last year, Abu Ali requested two books written by Obama: "Dreams from My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope."

But prison officials, citing guidance from the FBI, determined that passages in both books contain information that could damage national security.

The fed’s decision is quite sound and based on the most glaring and objective evidence; I don’t want them ready Das Kapital and Mein Kampf either.

The tiny rodent is the symbol of wasteful spending in the $787 billion Porkulus bill has returned to needle  Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Good. As much as $16.1 million from the stimulus program is going to save the San Francisco Bay Area habitat of, among other things, the endangered salt marsh harvest mouse (left).
”Mickey” was one of Pelosi’s pet project was an "invisible earmark" about which   House Minority Leader John A. Boehner bellowed  "Lo and behold, the government has announced that the mouse is getting its money after all; Pelosi must be so proud."

The follwoing is a serious topic… just another indication of the lies the State Run Media poisons our society with; contrary to what they want you to believe, more U.S. service members committed suicide in the Clinton Years—190—(when there was no war) than during President Bush’s tenure—160—during which wars raged in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And guess what? To this point in The Golden Obama Years there are 88 suspected suicides, compared to the first six months of Bush’s first term—67.

And… the last six months have seen combat drop to near zero in Iraq.

But we won’t hear much about all this will we?

Breaking:

Barack Obama’s push for quick action by Congress on climate change legislation suffered a setback on Thursday when the U.S. Senate committee leading the drive delayed work on the bill until September.

Senator (that’s SENATOR, to you) Barbara Boxer said her self-imposed deadline of early August for finishing writing a bill to combat global warming has been put off until after Congress returns from a recess that ends in early September.

“We’ll do it as soon as we get back” from that break, Boxer told reporters. Asked if this delay jeopardizes chances the Senate will pass a bill this year, Boxer said, “Not a bit … we’ll be in (session) until Christmas, so I’m not worried about it.”

But Boxer did not guarantee Congress will be able to finish a bill and deliver it to Obama by December, when he plans to attend an international summit on climate change in Copenhagen.

Good news…. the chinks in the armor are showing. You’ve done a good job of threatening members congress members with pink slips—the only thing that motivates the bastards—and the results are obvious.

We defeated them on the “shamnesty” bid to make millions of wetbacks citizens (you know just like terrorist who somehow have Constitutional rights). Obama’s approve/disapprove polls are at a –8 and headed south.

Self-loathing

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: “Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.

“So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion. Which some people felt would risk coercing women into having abortions when they didn’t really want them. But when the court decided McRae, the case came out the other way. And then I realized that my perception of it had been altogether wrong.…”

Adolph Hitler: “When I send the flower of German youth into the steel hail of the war without feeling the slightest regret  over the precious German blood that is being spilled, should I also not have the right to eliminate millions of an inferior race that multiply like vermin?”

Speaking with the NYT Magazine, Ginsburg explained that all of a sudden “her perception” was wrong… that’s not a vaccination against the charge. The additional question then, is why did she think that:

at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of…”

Ed Morrissey overt at HotAir.com opines:

In fact, she argued cases before the Supreme Court during that period.  And it wasn’t until 1980, which is when the Supreme Court decided McRae, that Ginsburg realized it didn’t have anything to do with allowing the government a mechanism to practice eugenics.

In that seven-year period, did Ginsburg use her considerable clout to argue against Roe, if that’s what she believed, or for that matter, against government funding of abortions?  If not, shouldn’t we surmise from that silence that either (a) Ginsburg had few problems with government pushing a eugenics program, or (b) that she was willing to shrug off the eugenics in order to support Roe for the access to abortion?

I make it a point not equate anyone or anything with Nazis or Hitler lightly. Muslims speak routinely of eliminating Israel “from the map”, and I believe that within the next few years they’ll make a serious attempt at so doing.

They are Nazis.

But when an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court matter-of-factly states a National Socialist belief… in fact, the key National Socialist belief and guiding principle, then that Justice is a Nazi.

Ginsburg also reveals another deeply troubling psychological aspect: that she is a self-loathing Jew. The East and West Coasts are filled to overflowing with self-hating Jews… that’s the only explanation for them being overwhelmingly secular and in support of the Palestinians, and other sub-human, IslamoNazis who would love to see Holocaust – Part II.  

Kapos

The ultimate self-hating Jews: Several hundred Jewish Kapos (women as well as men)--all selected by the Nazis to oversee and punish their own people—did so to spare themselves harsh treatment, malnourishment and ultimately their own death. Theirs was the conundrum within the Holocaust.

Many were tried and sentenced to long prison terms and but only a few were executed after the war along with their German masters.

But I digress.

Justice Ginsburg will not face any earthly punishment for her fervent support of murdering millions of babies in the womb, but there will be a Judgment… and for her, (diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last February) it will come very soon.  

“A woman’s right to choose” is no different than “I was just following orders.”

… a crime against humanity.

Realities

Reality finds a way to present itself.

Yesterday I was testing a new telephoto lens about 70-80 meters off I-35 outside my town.

By rapidly taking shots of the passing 65-mph traffic, I was  judging the the lens’ “quickness.”

My attention was quickly drawn to this old veteran in cammo, bearing the outward signs of long and arduous service.

After I got home and started running my shots through my photo software I was surprised to learn that this up-armored six-by (although The Ninja reports: “We just called 'em five tons.  I guess they could pull five tons or something. Globalsecurity.org calls 'em M939s.”) had seen its share of recent combat and as a result was headed to destinations unknown.

There were two closely-spaced, large-caliber hits obviously directed at the driver.

Neither of the shots appeared to have penetrated the bullet-resistant windshield,and there were other battle damage on the frame and hood.

Thanks to the free market and American ingenuity, 42-pound multilayered glass and polymer laminate barriers are installed as side window kits on the workhorse military transports, which requires four per vehicle. Humvee windshield sections, for example, weighing 260 pounds each. 

This type of increased protection has saved an untold number of lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So… even on a quiet, hot, muggy morning in North Texas there are reminders of the sacrifices of our servicemen and women now in harm’s way… most of them unknown, unheralded and sadly, largely unappreciated.  

Take just a moment to study the photos, remember, and give thanks for those who stand between us and death and slavery.

And now, back to the madness which we join still (unfortunately) in progress.

Today I’m reminded of the man twirling the plates on sticks…. most often seen on the Ed Sullivan Show or a circus.

Barack Obama is that man; he is obviously out of his depth and experience, yet he maintains a flurry of activity that is “all hat and no cattle” as they say down here in Texas. He insists on twirling an enormous number of foreign and domestic plates and 90% of them are wobbling, yet in response, he adds more plates or one of our foreign enemies throws another at us.

The disaster is obvious and near upon us.

Where are the results from the near-$800 billion stimulus which to not just important, but critical to our very economic survival?

Better yet, where is the damned money…?

 

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 32% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –5.

The number who strongly disapprove inched up another point to the highest level measured to date and the overall Approval Index is at the lowest level yet for Obama.

 

Governor Palin sounds off in the current Time mag:

“President Obama is growing government outrageously, and it's immoral and it's uneconomic, his plan that he tries to sell America. His plan to "put America on the right track" economically, incurring the debt that our nation is incurring, trillions of dollars that we're passing on to our kids, expecting them to pay off for us, is immoral and doesn't even make economic sense. So his growth of government agenda needs to be ratcheted back, and it's going to take good people who have the guts to stand up to him, stand up to him and debate policy, not personalities, not partisan politics, but policy to effect the change that we need there.”

Where are the Republicans—especially male GOPers—when it comes to calling a spade a spade…?

Clearly, the best man in the Republican Party is a woman.

Beyond the Palin….

First… a few comments about Gov. Palin’s resignation.

Even as someone who is near-inured to the bottomless slime pit which produces leftists and hard core liberals in the country, even I was outraged anew by the round the clock attacks on Sarah Plain, her husband and her children… at the attacks on her baby son who was born with Down’s Syndrome.

… and not aborted immediately like the Left would have wanted and perhaps even given Palin’s some eugenics props.    

HuffPo celebrated her announced resignation last Friday as Alaska’s governor (effective July 26) with the headline: ‘Palin will run in ‘12 on more retardation platform’, and there was something about her being in favor of “lead paint chips” for children:

This was just the latest attack on Sarah Palin and her children. Most of the attacks, of course, were ignored by the state-run media. But, when David Letterman cracked rape jokes about her 14 year-old daughter the poor media was forced to report on it. The Left was finally able to drive Sarah Palin out of office. Let's pray they will leave her and her family alone for awhile now.

Palin was (and sadly will continue to be) the litmus test and punching bag for all manner of things political and psychological to GOP moderates and RINOS as well as the dems and the hard-left.

Think not? Three words: Dan. Quaye. Potato.

It’s quicker to list the accurate statements made about the governor than the lies and distortions.

But she was despised for the following reasons, in no particular order:

• She is a woman.
• She is a Christian.
• She is an unbowed and unrepentant conservative.
• She is an attractive conservative, Christian woman.
• She is an attractive, conservative, Christian, woman with five children.
• and, she is hated because she didn’t sacrifice Trig to Roe v Wade. 

Contrary to the Goebbels tactics mounted against her, she has a good sense of humor and is quite self-effacing, she is very intelligent and politically savvy and still has far more executive experience than your president who, because of his ineptitude and Marxist philosophy, has near-doomed this great nation.

Because of her lack of big league experience, I was opposed to her as the VP nomine in 2008. But due to the party insistence on nominating Socialist Lite to run against The Socialists, she was the only bright spot in one of the most inept national campaigns on record.

Running her when they did was desperation considering McCain could never move the country, let alone bring his party together. By running her national before she was ready they wasted her talent early, and what might have been is only that.

And she was/is not the answer for 2012, but she is an effective rallying point for The People to regain control of the Republican party and the Congress. With a well-organized bully pulpit, she can monkey wrench the socialists while a long-needed right-wing coup regains control of the GOP.

I plan on sending Gov. Palin a letter of congratulations for (I hope) finally washing her hands of politics. She is just the latest casualty among those well-intentioned patriots who still see public service as just that.

And this is what politics (especially if you are politics' minority’s minority—conservatives) does to you… Clarence Thomas, Judge Bork, John Bolton and on, ad museum.   

There are far better people in science and industry, health care, the military, and in my small town, that those who “represent” us on the state and national level. 

Her future….? I hope it includes a wonderful life with her family and friends and, like Johnny Carson when he decided it was time to leave, just steps into the shadows.

Obama Administration foreign policy guru and chief idiot Joe Biden just gave the terrorists in Iraq the glimmer of hope they so desperately needed.

Vice President Biden warned Iraqi officials Friday that the American commitment to Iraq could end if the country again descended into ethnic and sectarian violence.
Biden delivered the warning during a three-day visit to Iraq that began Thursday, just a few days after the United States formally withdrew most combat troops from Iraqi cities under a security agreement reached last year. It was the vice president's first visit since President Obama asked him to take the lead on Iraq policy.

Biden who pushed a disastrous plan to partition Iraq was tapped by Obama this past week to be the White House point of contact on Iraq.

Ahh, the Peter Principal remains with us. Does anyone remember the Vice President of the United States congratulating our troops of their hard-won success in Iraq. Get back to me when you can.

The Times of London (via HotAir) that “… the Saudis have agreed to tacitly allow Israelis to transit their airspace to attack Iran and end its nuclear program.  The Mossad has worked with the Saudis for several years as the Iranian threat in the region grew, and the Saudis — and other Arab states — would be privately relieved to have Tehran’s nuclear ambitions curtailed.  But is now the right time, while the mullahs teeter in Iran?”

I think now is exactly the right time… the Iranian people are standing up and the CIA operatives there would certainly convey to them our support in overthrowing the concernment…. oh, wait, I’m sorry, I thought I was back in the 1980s and we were running the Commies out of Nicaragua by arming the Contras.

And this just in:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former D.C. mayor, now Washington councilman, Marion Barry has been arrested again.

On July 4, the U.S. Park Police arrested Barry and charged him with misdemeanor stalking.

About 8:45 p.m. in Anacostia Park, a Washington woman flagged down a Park Police officer on patrol and pointed to Barry, who was in another car. The woman said Barry was stalking her, Park Police spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser said.

Barry was taken into custody, processed and released, but he must make a court appearance for the charge. A court date has not been set.

This is what happens when large numbers of socialists gather in large population centers…. crack-head, stalking mayors, poverty, high crime, high taxes, rampant unemployment, schools unworthy of the utility bills paid to keep them open and the eventual jailing of the top democrats.

It’s America’s… learn to love it… or leave it.
