The United States Postal Service (USPS) created a US stamp of President Obama.

The USPS noticed that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes. This enraged Obama, who demanded a full investigation.

After a month of testing and $11.73 million in congressional spending, a special commission presented the following findings:

1. The stamp is in perfect order.

2. There is nothing wrong with the glue.

3. People are spitting on the wrong side.

VALLEY FALL, NY -- The young man was given three choices: get turned over to the police, go one-on-one in a fight with a seasoned war veteran, or be duct-taped to a flagpole for six hours with a sign around his neck which proclaimed he was being trussed up because he burned the American flag.

It seems the horse’s ass, 21, tried to get in the local VFW bar last Friday night  for a drink but was turned away because he had no ID, and there was no question he didn’t qualify for VFW membership.

Mentored by communists since he was a child, and running on a 2008 campaign platform which insisted the US should be fighting in Afghanistan, not Iraq, Obama has now taken decisive action as CnC.

His administration has taken official custody today of Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s  request for a significant troop increase, or “surge”, for the Afghan-Pak theater. 

However, Obama will not “officially” see it for a while. The Pentagon reports it was “held at his request, until Obama officially makes an official decision about the officially official policy he wants to officially pursue in the war”… in Iraq.

So after after years of condemning President Bush’s conduct of the Iraq War, trying his best to undermine the war effort and demoralize our troops in the field, voting against the military funding, and for cutting off funds for the war, condemning Gen. Petraeus’ “surge”, and saying it would not work and that we could not win in Iraq…..

…. now, as president, he pays more attention to destroying our health care system that destroying our enemies, and has thereby voted “present” once again, but this time his cowardice will cost American lives.

Politico.com reports: Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.

Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold."

The Real America in Real America

I’m dispensing with my usual meat and potatoes posts today… I figure that what with Obama thinking he’s the King of the World who has forfeited the rest of America’s season to our enemies… with Iran working on two nukes… not the zero nukes the dimocrats have insisted there are, and OBL is demanding that Europe withdraw its pitifully small number of troops from Afghanistan, and Kadafi claiming paternity of Barry (not a stretch considering Barry’s old lady)… terror squads being busted across the nation…. what could happen?

Today me and my homie, Chuck Chow attended the annual Gene Autry Oklahoma Film and Music Festival in where else but Gene Autry, Okla., (near Ardmore).

All my life I’ve used “Howdy” more than any other greeting and in this crowd… in the civic Center near the Gene Autry Church and the Gene Autry Volunteer Fire Department, so does everyone else.

Many in attendance dress the part, celebrating perhaps not the authentic West but the West portrayed in thousands of Western films… the exhibits are awash in boots, parasols, school marm dresses, marshal badges, cowhide vest and long sleeve shirts with pear snap buttons…. and enough six-guns to start a range war, I reckon.  

Autry (1907 – 1998) made a lot of mostly B Westerns which usually saw him meeting a nice girl and defending her honor in a fist-fight or with some fair gun slingin’ which usually involved The Singing Cowboy shooting the bad guy’s Colt from his hand.

Damned fine shootin’ from waist.

And yes, each two-reeler usually featured at least three or four songs, often on horseback.

Autry:

• acted in almost 100 films, and had soundtrack credit for 115 movies in a career that spanned more than a half century. 
• made 640 recordings, including 300+ songs he wrote or co-wrote.
• sold more than 100 million records and had more than a dozen gold and platinum records, including the first certified gold record.
• flew “the Hump”—over the treacherous Himalayas—in the China-Burma-India Theater after enlisting in 1942 at age 35.

Gene owned the Anaheim Angles for decades, died at 92, and made more money than God, appearing on the Forbes’ magazine list of the 400 richest Americans until he slipped to a "near miss" in 1995 with an estimated net worth of $320 million.

And of course Autry had his own radio and TV shows in the 1940s and 50s, and was concerned that his young radio listeners would emulate him, so he wrote the Cowboy Code:

He told his fans that to be a good cowboy one:

1. must never shoot first, hit a smaller man, or take unfair advantage.
2. must never go back on his word, or a trust confided in him.
3. must always tell the truth.
4. must be gentle with children, the elderly and animals.
5. must not advocate or possess racially or religiously intolerant ideas.
6. must help people in distress.
7. must be a good worker.
8. must keep himself clean in thought, speech, action and personal habits.
9. must respect women, parents and his nation's laws.
10. must be a patriot.

Perhaps these few, now remarkable guides for life were his greatest contribution.

The real fun today was meeting some of my favorite movie and TV character actors from the 40s, 50, and 60s, including Donna Douglas—The Beverly Hillbilly’s “Elly Mae”; Ben Copper, left and above, mostly known for his work in Westerns, including Duel at Apache Wells, Johnny Guitar and numerous TV appearances through the 1980s; and James Hampton best known for his portrayal of bugler “Dobbs” in TV’s send up of U.S. Calvary movies… F Troop.    . 

Cooper is shown below in a scene from Gunfight at Comanche Creek starring Audie Murphy,WWII Medal of Honor Recipient and one of the most decorated American soldiers of all time.

Cooper remembered Murphy as a “quiet, great guy” who was easy to work with.

Most people don’t know that Murph was also a successful country music songwriter. His songs were cover4ed by such diverse artists as as Dean Martin, Eddy Arnold, Charley Pride, Porter Waggoner, Roy Clark, and interesting, Harry Nilsson.

His two biggest hits were "Shutters and Boards" and "When the Wind Blows in Chicago". 

Donna Douglas, below with my main man, Chuck, was a dear heart; easy and pleasant with the fans, chatting and signing and posing for photos.  

When I purchased one of her photos I asked her if she recalled making a public appearance in Taft California about 1964-65 where I first met her as a high school student. (Donna is shown right with my protégé the aforementioned Mr. Chow.) 

Assuming she’d look quizzical or just say, “no”, she surprised me by immediately saying, “Yes, it was at a car dealership.”

Right she was…. and to this day I can still recall my, shall we say impure thoughts as I clasped her tiny hands and said “pleased to meet you”, my mind filled with fantasies that will be recounted in my soon-to-be published autobiography…. “I’ve Done Some Interesting, and Dangerous Things.”    

For those keeping track, Miss Elly May will be 76 tomorrow.

Ahh, where did my life go? 

Had some nice conversation with Jim Hampton, who lives in Trophy Club, Texas, in the Dallas area—just and hour and a half from here.

“F Troop” was a great TV series which should forever be respect for the punch line about the “Ha’kowie Indians” who were so named after being lost for a very long time and then finally uttered… “Where the heck are we?”

The tribe’s name has been changed over the years to a more humorous and far more crude punch line.

It was a great day, walking back through my childhood, full of Red Ryder BB Guns, Roy Rogers lunch pails, and humming the lyrics of “Happy trails…. to you… until we meet again…..”

And once again I felt very grateful for the childhood I had… when children were loved and given the right role models and expected to respond to those lessons. For a time of wholesomeness and easily defined lines, a great education and wonderful friends… most of whom I still have.

Those who came after me have my sympathy

Yesterday the contrast could not have been greater at the annual Zoo Parade of mental defectives, anti-Semites and degenerate despots that is the United Nations.

As radio talker Mark Levin said this afternoon, the Leader of the Free World spoke and so did the president of the united States.

Israeli Premier Bibi Netanyahu followed the likes of mass murderers Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi to the dais where he blasted the recent UN report on Gaza. and defended Jewish rights in the land of Israel.

Imagine, a leader who not only doesn’t apologize for the nation he was elected to serve, but stands and fights back against those who seek to destroy his country.

"To those who gave this Holocaust denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people. ... ‘Have you no shame? Have you no decency?’" Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu condemned the UN for giving a venue for the Iranian president who dismisses as a myth the monstrous crime against humanity committed 65 years ago.

"What a disgrace," Netanyahu said. "What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations."

Netanyahu challenged the international community to step up and prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, but expressed broad disappointment with the United Nations.

The UN Human Rights Council issued a recent report that condemned Israel for its offensive in the Gaza Strip last January.

"What a travesty," Netanyahu said. "Israel (has) justly defended itself against terror."

"Will you stand with Israel or will you stand with the terrorists?" he asked.

Compare that with this, from the communist anti-Semite in the White House:

"America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements," Obama said.

Obama’s assembled friends who murder children and vow to see Israel “wiped from the face of the Earth” applauded wildly. 

Former US Ambassador John Bolton said Obama’s speech “… put Israel on the chopping block"....

And where does Barack Hussein Obama stand on his country?

In his speech to the UN he surrendered America to our enemies without firing a shot. 

• I prohibited -- without exception or equivocation -- the use of torture by the United States of America. (Applause.) I ordered the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed, and we are doing the hard work of forging a framework to combat extremism within the rule of law.

Part of this was due to opposition to specific policies, and a belief that on certain critical issues, America has acted unilaterally, without regard for the interests of others. This has fed an almost reflexive anti-Americanism, which too often has served as an excuse for our collective inaction.
• Each country will pursue a path rooted in the culture of its people, and – in the past – America has too often been selective in its promotion of democracy.

"No world order that elevates one nation or groups of people over another will succeed."

In short, Obama believes that America is guilty, greedy, stained, immoral, and unjust, with a flawed Constitution, and is no better than any other nation.

For these high crimes and misdemeanors and his refusal to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” he must be impeached before tens of thousands die in Israel and here.

And in the understatement of the year, Susan Rice, the Obama drone posing as UN ambassador, said, "The United States has dramatically changed the tone, the substance and the practice of our diplomacy at the United Nations."

It is for good reason that even in the pathetic cess pool that is Western Europe, they are calling Obama “President Panty-waist”.

Money quote:  "We are content and happy if Obama can stay forever as the president of the United States of America," Kadafi added.

 

   

 

 

Inmates, meet asylum administrative positions

It’s official…. The entire Obama administration is as mentally unstable as its leader; it’s bad enough to be crazy, but to be crazy and in charge of the world’s most important nation is a recipe for nothing less than Armageddon.

After years of insisting that Afghanistan was the key U.S. national defense priority, Obama is beginning to show his true colors (pasty yellow) and now must take time to consider the issue of sending the 40,000 troops requested by Gen. Stanley McChrystal.

Unbelievably, a CNN reporter  just said, “it’s time for Obama to man up (in Afghanistan) or preside over an American defeat.”   

CNN?

Obama said he will take his time to decide on coming up with a “new strategy” for Afghanistan… therefore revealing that his has no strategy at all for the Taliban controlled nation, or the Middle East for that matter…. other than supporting terrorists over our only ally there, Israel.

In so doing, Obama is offering the loss of Afghanistan and the loss of American lives to placate the far left anti-war members of Congress and his socialist backers like George Soros and ensure passage of Obamacare.

He will continue his increase of “war by drone”, Bill Clinton’s safe politically-driven air war choice in Bosnia, rather than ordering the surge that McChrystal clearly demands.

And in the meantime the Commander-in-Chief has time to waste on the always-obsequious TV buffoon, David Letterman, and soak the taxpayers for a $7,000-per night stay at New York’s Waldorf Astoria while posing as President of the World addressing the United Nations…. while proclaiming that our greatest threat is global warming which is clearly a hoax.

And why Armageddon?

Because the nuclear clock is still ticking in Iran; we are selling out Israel while bowing to Islamo-terrorists and their backing regimes and Obama has clearly proven to our enemies that they can get away with mass murder.

And as you can see by the photo at right, this was not some grim, geopolitical photo op that government officials have to attended for our own self interest, Panetta was clearly having the time of his life with Hamad.

“… Dr. Chu said he didn’t think average folks had the know-how or will to to change their behavior enough to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.

“’The American public…just like your teenage kids, aren’t acting in a way that they should act’,” Dr. Chu said. ‘The American public has to really understand in their core how important this issue is.’ (In that case, the Energy Department has a few renegade teens of its own.)”

It was just days ago reporters asked him about OPEC output levels after a speech to a group of utility regulators. He responded that the issue was "not in my domain."

Later, in a conference call to reporters, he said his answer reflected "more of my naiveté than anything else."

My ass… he simply didn’t know he was was the No. 1 person in the administration when it came to petroleum. Perhaps he’d do better as car czar… where there are absolutely no job requirements.

Previous democrat administrations just keep giving back to the country:

PowerLine.com. Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright spoke at a forum in Omsk, Siberia. Pravda reported that her speech "surprised the audience." No wonder. The Russians in attendance must have wondered how they managed to lose the cold war.

Madeleine Albright said during the meeting that America no longer had the intention of being the first nation of the world.

She particularly said that democracy was not the perfect system. "It can be contradictory, corrupt and may have security problems," Albright said.

America has been having hard times recently, Albright said.

"We have been talking about our exceptionalism during the recent eight years. Now, an average American wants to stay at home - they do not need any overseas adventures. We do not need new enemies," Albright said adding that Beijing, London and Delhi became a serious competition for Washington and New York.”

Zbigniew Brzezinski (former Carter National Security advisor) suggests that Barack Obama do more than just refuse to support an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear sites -- the American president must give the order to shoot down Israeli aircraft as they cross Iraqi airspace.

DB: How aggressive can Obama be in insisting to the Israelis that a military strike might be in America’s worst interest?

Brzezinski: We are not exactly impotent little babies. They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?

DB: What if they fly over anyway?

Brzezinski: Well, we have to be serious about denying them that right. That means a denial where you aren’t just saying it. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a ‘Liberty’ in reverse.”

In additional to being an idiot, a traitor and the worst president in 100 years, Carter remains the only president to report seeing a UFO and to be attacked by an amphibious bunny.

And since your First Lady sat in the front row at the somber ceremony as Paul and Janet Monti of Raynham, Mass., accepted the sixth posthumous Medal of Honor of the Overseas Contingency Operation in Iraq and Afghanistan, they were subjected to the garishly loud and inappropriate ghetto clothing.

Michelle is shown right, seated next to Mr. Monti as he greets some of his son’s comrades from the Third Squadron of the 71st Cavalry Regiment (Recon), 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.

This is the woman who said, "People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and ... for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback."

And fellow-travelers….

Also visible at the ceremony to honor 1stSgt Monti was Sen. John Kerry who, referring to Monti and other service-members in this war, said, “…. there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the -- of -- of -- of -- historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. Iraqis should be doing that…..”

…. and this:

Speaking to college students in California, Kerry said, "You know, education -- if you make the most of it -- you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

And about veterans of the Vietnam War:

“…. they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.”

And here are several more craven statements from this waste of skin who isn’t fit to carry 1stSgt. Monti’s canteens, let alone serve as his Commander-in-Chief.

It is our patriotic duty to see that the Obama years end in 2012 so the real American patriots…. We the People… can set about the task of restoring the Nation and seeing to it that no other Gold Star family is subjected to such indignity.
