All that’s missing is a fluffy kitten

I detest the Navy’s new ad campaign TV commercials which features a sci-fi “Transformer”-type aircraft full of nurses and doctors saving flood victims and handing out bottled water… Evian please.

All that’s missing is a fluffy kitten.

And the tag line?“America’s Navy..  A Global Force for Good.”

Puke.

But then what do you expect when the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,  “Mommy” Mike Mullen, an admiral so giddy over paving the way for openly gay sailors to help destroy the world’s premier navy, that I expect him to appear at the next Gay Rights parade in San Fran.

That is he over there, with his Cub Scout salute and his cover askew; looks gay to me.

Mullen has said “We treat each other (gays)with respect or we find another place to work. Period.”

That’s right, Gunny; you don’t like this, don’t let the door hit you in the six. We’re making room by getting rid of you for seamen recruits with the political agenda to turn then Navy into The Village People. They already have their own marketing tool.

The Navy’s new buzz phrase is just one more “chickification” of our military specifically, and our society in general.  “Global Force for Good” replaces the “Accelerate Your Life” campaign which was even more lame and could easily have been used for DeVry University… same with the Army’s “Be All You Can Be” and “Army of One.”

You get the trend here….?

The individual is stressed over the unit and the mission.

Our military is answering the question that should not be asked by recruits in the first place–”What’s in it for me?”

Our political-military is rewriting history: “Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you.”

But to my shipmates’ credit… the Navy Times reports that it has received 56 e-mails from readers, and all but six disliked the new slogan.

“This bumper-sticker jingle would look good on a flower-toting cart, but when an [aircraft carrier] that displaces over 100,000 tons pulls up off your coast, generally the thought is, ‘Oh crap, the U.S. Navy is here,’” said Information Specialist 1st Class Joshua Forman, 2nd Fleet Military Intelligence Operations Center.

“Some people disliked the slogan for practical reasons: “This is not ‘America’s Navy.’ It is the United States Navy … America encompasses two continents. The United States is located in just one. Tell them to get it right,” said retired Lt. Cmdr. Bill Jones.”

And what does it cost to “re-brand” the United States Navy and put it in a Volkswagen mini-bus?

“Campbell-Ewald, the Navy’s main advertising agency since 2000, was awarded its third five-year contract in May, worth as much as $800 million, partly on the strength of its “A global force for good” re-branding concept. The company and Recruiting Command have enough evidence that convinces them today’s young people will respond to an  appeal to a higher purpose.”

A “higher purpose” you latte-drinking metrosexual?

There is no higher purpose than serving your nation honorably, and hopefully getting the chance to kill some of the enemy during your career.

And yet, onboard the Navy’s website, you’ll find this…. Yea!! UPS stands on guard for you.

Hey, all hands… and let’s not forget to celebrate Women’s History Month…. which is right before Take Your Daughter to Work Day and just after Secretary’s Day.

No… not Navy Month or Military History Month or Large-caliber Weapons Month.

What about Medal of Honor Month…. National Medal of Honor Day was 25 March, but you won’t find that in the Navy budget line items.

No… for your tax dollars you get:  CHICK MONTH!! Which is just before Black History Month and just After Hispanic History Month… and I’m laying 10 to 1 that Muslim History Month is only one Obama re-election away. 

Naturally, all the colors of the rainbow (rainbow… get it?) are prominently displayed in the Navy ads… most of the females are of those carefully chosen models who appear to be a mixture of Mediterranean, Black, Oriental… somewhat exotic like the gal above.

This is what you need when build and maintain a focused, dedicated, cohesive military force?…  diversity, separate agendas, groups and sub-groups within the group? 

Can Puerto Rican lesbian defrocked nuns, and trannys be far behind?

But thank God and 230 years of hard as nails Americans, there still is a Marine Corps.

The Corps has perfected the negative sell…. “… you can’t make it here, go away and don’t bother us.”

Marine Corps Medal of Honor Recipient Hershel Woodrow “Woody” Williams was rejected twice by a recruiter because he was too short. He refused to take no for an answer.

Less than two years later he helped turn the tide in one of the Corps’ most pivotal battles.

It will again my distinct privilege to break bread with Woody on Tuesday… the last survivor of 22 Marine and five Navy MOH Recipients cited for heroism on for Iwo Jima.  (I’ll post through next week on our annual Medal of Honor Weekend here in Gainesville… now in its 11th year. This year we are hosting 14 Recipients.)

Over the years the Corps has used variations of the  “you’re not good enough” theme: “First to Fight”,  ”We Didn’t Promise you a Rose Garden”, “The Few The Proud The Marines”, “Duty… Honor… Country.”

The Corps has maintained this simple recruiting (marketing) concept that has worked since Smedley Darlington Butler was a private, and before; we’re just looking for a small number of dedicated individuals who are full of testosterone, possess a clear mind, and above all, are willing to use maximum violence to kill our enemies.

Meanwhile, other branches do a disservice to their troops by painting them as Super Peace Corps Volunteers helping out natural disaster victims.

“Humanitarian missions”, “Peace keepers”. Crap.

The Corps will never run an ad that suggests someone join for college money, or to “be all you can be”.

The Corps offers one thing–you can be a Marine if you can hack it; if you doubt yourself, don’t take up the nice recruiter’s time.

Kabuki… you should know it when you see it

Hang with me on this…. for years I’ve used the term kabuki theater in reference to government and politics in general, and US political machinations specifically.

It pops up frequently among TV’s talking heads but only in a superficial sense by idiots like the recently-fired Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews who jump on the bandwagon of new buzz-words like “gravitas” and pronouncing Taliban as tolley bahn to prove their superior intellect.

Justice Potter Stewart once said he couldn’t define obscenity, ”but I know it when I see it”.

I feel the same about using “kabuki” in reference to politics and especially this government.

Early this morning, for the first time in decades I re-read the early history of kabuki theater and it’s even more spot on when used to describe the Obama regime’s conduct than when applied to any other in our history.    

• Kabuki is performed at a special theatre and the displays are usually overwhelming in their use of colour, makeup and stylized movements.
• The revolving stage and trapdoors mean that impressive entrances and exits occur throughout the performance

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I find the parallel apt as well in that kabuki is spoken and sung in 'old Japanese'… yet even the Japanese themselves find it difficult to understand; performances last a number of hours.

Yes, Obama stars in this long-running performance, but his supporting cast is the real power behind the throne; anybody can hire an actor to play the lead, but without the façade, the masks, the stylistic portrayal of a false reality inducing a willing suspension of disbelief in the electorate, the show will open and close on the same night.

The lead actor is only that; he just needs to show up on time, lines learned (more or less—I am reminded of our 57 states), and hit his marks.

In other words this Progressive Kabuki has been gaining strength since the early 1900s; T.R., Wilson, F.D.R., Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and a few other lesser democrat lights had the lead, but the script never changes substantially… it just goes to rewrite. 

The word kabuki is made of three characters:

• “ka” meaning “songs”, 'bu' meaning “dance” and 'ki' meaning “skill”.

...Skill at singing (and writing) songs and dancing, if you will.

The Marxist radicals are very skilled in its performance…. they have been known to play communist songs for audiences of smiling leaders of democratic societies and receive standing Os.

Very early in the first act we have seen union thugs like SEIU’s Andy Stern masquerading as a member of Obama's National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform; Stern’s lines include…. “America needs an economic plan that does not include worshipping the free market.”   

Pretty fair legerdemain, I’d say… a committed Marxist placed in the center of power in the United States.

But perhaps it’s not as good as armed Black Panthers with walk-ons as “Democrat poll watchers”.

And if your lib sis-in-law has trouble grasping that in her pea-brain… have her read this, breaking now:

The list of other kabuki actors, singers and writers is far more than those in “Gandhi” and “Gone With the Wind” combined, you get the idea…

And in parting today, I’ll note that original kabuki players were all women who danced onstage and apparently performed other services offstage.

As the 17th century progressed, women were no longer permitted to perform because it was thought that they were having a corrupting effect of the spectators.

Young attractive boys began to play both male and female roles and caused as much havoc as the women had, so kabuki was actually banned for a time in the mid 1600s.

…. so read and watch to your heart’s content; in this performance there’s no surprise ending, at least for those who have been watching closely since early rehearsals.

Don’t get caught up in the symptoms

I’ll admit to being AWOL from this space of late; reasons are may, but No. 1 is my seeming inability to focus on one “pressing” issue among no less than 50 pressing issues pointing like daggers at the heart of America.

I keep coming back to the theme that why I mistrust, find frustrating and actually fear liberals and their radical masters… because they’ll get you killed.

• Obamacare+death panels=you’re dead.   
• “Café” standards mean lightweight cars=you’re dead.
• Far left MA Gov. Deval Patrick allows parole for sub-human with three life sentences=cop is dead. 
• Enviro-whackos outlaw DDT=millions are dead.  

And most recently, it appears that the communist infiltrated unions in New York appear to have staged a “work slowdown” as the recent blizzard hit; of course they were protesting some sort of grievance for which more money is the only solution.

The result of the criminal act by malcontent union thugs… :

• A baby delivered inside the lobby of a snowbound Brooklyn building died after an emergency call brought nine excruciating hours.
• A Queens woman tried to reach 911 operators for 20 minutes Monday and then waited for three hours for first responders to arrive. By then, her mom was dead.
• A 76-year-old Bay Ridge heart attack victim nearly died when an FDNY ambulance became stuck in a snow bank, but good Samaritans lugged him through the unplowed streets on make-shift sled.
• A 66 year-old man froze to death on a stranded subway car.

A criminal investigation is underway, but remember the Big Apple is a lot like Chicago… don’t hold your breath.

There are hundreds of cause and effect, direct results of leftists now undermining our nation on each and every front.

Central theme

But let’s settle on the main theme and stick will it for a moment, because the particulars are only symptoms which can easily be followed back to the infection that is ravaging Real America.

The infection is a fatal brew of power, control, and an amount of money that is impossible to fully grasp.

Just for round numbers… let’s take one-sixth of the U.S. economy, which if not defended completely, will fall into the hands of the radical left under Obamacare.

Power. Control. And the money to wield both.

We are already work slaves to this rapacious government and will work for our masters for free until April 9 this year, but we still have what’s left.

But when the government forces government health insurance on you and your family and the manages costs the only way possible… by limiting treatment, grandma will live the rest of her days in a wheel chair because hip replacements are too costly to waste on the elderly who do not work.

And if that cancer treatment is “too expensive”, then simply, you will die. Meanwhile Obama spend hundreds of millions on vacations which apparently are not “too expensive”.

Senior citizen, meet ice floe.

Or as the departing Queen Nancy sees it: Nanny Nancy Knows Best: If Every American Loved Their Healthcare Dems Would Still Take it Over, Repeal Is ‘Violence’.

See? The left has zero interest in “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” You cannot take control of a country and run a Big Brother Government unless you change everything.

In the Navy:

Do really want me to believe that there is no connection between the repeal of DADT a few days ago and the cashiering of the skipper of the USS Enterprise for showing videos that contained “anti-gay slurs”? The shipboard-produced videos were four years old, but somehow surface now.

Gutless top brass effectively ended Captain Owen Honors’ stellar career for "demonstrating poor judgment while serving as executive officer of that ship."

“Tail-hook Part Deux.”

Captain Honors, a decorated, 27-year naval aviator with 85 combat missions was a water-walker and one of a small hand full of men to earn command of a nuke carrier. Apparently he was considered the best… he beat out every one else in the Navy for the position based on his record, but now all of a sudden he’s not fit to command.

Ironically, The Big E, the very first and therefore oldest nuclear carrier in the Navy is to be mothballed in 2013. Captain Honors probably never figured he’d be dry-docked first.

The point? Do you actually believe that those who drive the far-left, homosexual agenda in this country care about national defense? Hell no, they care only about antri-American, homosexual political action in order to turn a straight, conservative society upside down and inside out.

What more dramatic place to attack than our military?

The plan that has long been in place is now out in the open, no longer fearful of being exposed. In this time of war the forces of evil have successfully attacked and disabled to a certain extent the most powerful military in the world. I praised “Gunny” R. Lee Ermey the other day for calling Obama a socialist who was ruining the country. I take it all back… because the former drill instructor took it all back and apologized like a pouting little girl in ballet class.

The website Mediaite wonders if the apology is a move to appease the insurance company GEICO. As many know, Ermey has had a resurgence as a GEICO commercial star. But recently, another GEICO voice actor was fired for a foray into political talk:

A few months ago, GEICO fired voice actor Lance Baxter AKA D.C. Douglas for being critical of the Tea Party and Freedomworks. Not only did they fire him, they fired him for a political outburst on his own free time. Will they now fire Ermey?

That could be the reason. But some may just wonder if this is Ermey crossing into “mamby pamby land”:

Piss off Ermey… you’ve made more money than God off being a Marine, and now you fold like a tent because of money???

The People Have Spoken, and only a fool on either side of the aisle would doubt the effectiveness of the Tea Party Movement. But the Tea Party’s power is grass roots, it doesn’t run the RNC which is currently under the control of an idiot who should never have held the position in the first place.

Michael Steel was never anything more than RNC’s affirmative action hire… the GOP queasy 2009 response to the election of the First Halfrican-American president the year before.

While Steele served as Maryland lieutenant governor and is thus better qualified to be president than Obama, that was no reason to put him in charge of the stumbling, bumbling idiots in the RNC.

They needed R. Lee Ermey, but got Gomer Pyle.

Back to POTUS… The only voice close to Col. West’s or The Gunny’s is Sarah Palin; the most ardent, effective and tireless national voice against Obamanism is coy about a run and necessarily so… the dimocrats remain beside themselves, hoping against hope that she’ll be the nominee.

But the longer she plays cat and mouse, the longer they will prepare Obama for the wrong opponent.

Unfortunately, the GOPOTUS pool is so shallow that Newsweek reports that John Huntsman Jr., Obama’s ambassador to China and former Utah governor, looks to be moving into what he sees as an opportune vacuum; it’s a vacuum because the GOP sucks.

A very, very moderate Republican member of Obama’s far-left administration running against Obama in less than two years?

Hardly.

Who knows why Newsweek is floating this now and why Huntsman went along with I, it probably has more to do with his position now that what may happen in 2012.

The elites in the GOP still control the party and most of them learned nothing from the 2010 elections. They are so used to being out of power I think they actually prefer it… always more than comfortable when “reaching across the aisle”.

That’s not leadership, that’s how to become a multi-millionaire on a job that pays $160K, nothing more. Witness: 

Outgoing Rep. Bob Inglis (R-S.C.) (shown on his no doubt favorite TV show) said Thursday that a "credible conservative" movement that doesn't focus on "hatred" of President Obama is needed.

"We'll get through and we'll get back to optimistic conservatism," he said. "We just got to get through this unfortunate period."

If we do, and I believe it’s likely, we’re lost.  This is our last chance for a full and complete return America… Real America.

The 2012 can be the most important blow for freedom struck since the Revolution, but only if we first purge the party of elites like Lindsay Graham, and defeat Barack Hussein Obama.

But at least our military is still, always a bright sport… correct?

Navy opens investigation into raunchy videos

Washington (CNN) -- The Navy has opened an investigation into how a series of raunchy videos, full of sexual innuendo and anti-gay remarks, were produced and shown to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise while on deployment supporting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Navy spokesman Cmdr. Chris Sims said the videos, which were shown to the crew in 2006 and 2007, are "inappropriate."

The videos feature a man identified by two Navy officials as Capt. Owen Honors, right, who at the time was the executive officer, or second-in-command, of the Enterprise. He recently took command of the carrier, winning one of the most coveted assignments in the U.S. Navy, which has only 11 aircraft carriers.

Honors is shown cursing along with other members of his staff in an attempt to demonstrate humor, according to videos. There are also anti-gay slurs, simulated sex acts, and what appear to be two female sailors in a shower together.

The military’s done… we’re done…. I’m done

We here at the Southern Command have been on record for some time discouraging young men and women from enlisting in the United States military currently under the control of the Obama Administration and its congressional lackeys.

We take this position because most of the democrat party and not a small percentage of republicans for that matter, do not give a damn about the military and veterans, about your welfare, about your family, and most especially if you come back in a body bag; in fact, your death solves some of the economic shortfalls within the Pentagon budget.

And now that Congress has ended DADT with the passage of the “We’re no longer the world’s premier fighting force, we’re an on-going experiment in social justice” bill, I say again……  do not sacrifice your patriotism, your youth, your physical health, your mind and spirit for a nation that cares more about undermining America than it does about your honorable service.

If you’re already in uniform… thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service and sacrifice… and take the first opportunity to get out and get back to your family and a different career. Become a contractor, they can still hire and reject who they want—and the pay’s much better.

Don’t ignore my warnings, young trooper, you have already have missed the last days of American as a serious military power; I don’t have to tell you, by the current rules of engagement, you aleady fight with virtually both arms restrained.

The subhumans hide in mosques and shoot your buddies, yet your superiors refuse to authorize an air strike to send them to pig heaven.

You want more of that? You want the nightmares, the teeth-fracturing rage at the government that sent you to a third-world shit hole so you can be killed while your commanding officers fill the ranks with homosexuals intent making your beloved branch just one more flamboyant, transvestite, transsexual hang out?  

Our glory days are gone; Vietnam was the writing on the wall. We, too, were the best there was and the same government filled almost 60,000 body bags with us because of repeatedly failed leadership, politicians personally picking air strike targets in North Vietnam and the willingness to trade American lives for votes.

Those were my days; we had a few good days in the Reagan days, but the truth is we haven’t fought to win a war since the summer of 1945.

And now that these fifth-columnists and out and out traitors have finally succeeded in destroying the last and only segment of the government that works—the military—do not sacrifice yourself for a suicide mission.

• Right now you serve under an unqualified affirmative action hire who as commander in chief, bows to the very subhumans who want you dead. If it’s a choice between a haji and you… you’re going under the bus.
• Now there is a woman heading Homeland Security (in charge of your family’s safety and well-being) while you’re over there catching bullets; her only qualification? She’s a dyke.

What happens now:

It will take weeks, a few months, but the left’s homosexual social engineering agenda will begin to undermine the most power military in world history, and eventually we’ll die and turn to dust from within, still never having lost a war.

When the first transsexual marches down to the local recruiters (followed by the alerted news traitors) the military will become a laughing stock.

This “out” queer will be enlisted and then followed through boot camp like Elvis Presley was back in the 50s, and the entire purpose of the charade will be nothing more the attempt to find grounds for an anti-discrimination law suit.

On Aug. 15, 1995, after four whole hours of military indoctrination training, she spent the remainder of the first week in the infirmary before voluntarily resigning, citing emotional and psychological abuse and physical exhaustion. After her departure, the male cadets openly celebrated.

What was accomplished, considering Fat Ass Faulkner couldn't hack a whole day of physical training and quit, leaving the Citadel in turmoil, its long and honored tradition in tatters?

And she quit.

Was it about the military, an education, duty , honor country… hell no, it was about a feminist agenda to help undermine American society.

Faulkner now teaches at Hughes Academy Of Science and Technology, a middle school, in Greenville, S.C. The ten-year-old spawn of left wingers… sounds about like what she can handle.

The great likelihood is that our military will simply grind to a halt, awash in federal investigations, waves of UCMJ charges, careers ruined, promotions dashed. Sergeant Tutu of the Interior Design Unit will take his life partner to some state where same-sex marriage is “legal”, sign the papers and then demand a dependent’s ID card, health care, military pay increase, access to base privileges and housing and will expect an invitation to the Commanding Officer's wife’s spouses' group.

There will be hell to pay if any/all of that is not immediately forthcoming. And there you have it… the federal government has just recognized same sex marriage.

Thank God and Chesty Puller that my Marine Commandant Gen. James Amos was immediately on record, opposing the repeal and protecting his Marines, not pushing some bullshit political agenda. In a very measured and restrained understatement Amos said that the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" could cause a "distraction" to troops and potentially endanger lives.

"Look, anything that's going to break or potentially break that focus and cause any kind of distraction may have an effect on cohesion...I don't want to permit that opportunity to happen."

I don't want to lose any Marines to the distraction," Amos said. "I don't want to have any Marines that I'm visiting at Bethesda (Naval Medical Center) with no legs be the result of any type of distraction."

Are you ready to pay for sex change operations and 6’4”, 230-pound Air Force admin personnel in skirts and size 12 black patent leather pumps?

And what of AIDS and other STDs, just how quickly will they spread through an openly gay organization… look what’s happened in Hollywood and on Broadway.

And taxpayers, you’ll pick up all the medical costs of the very expensive treatment, meds, separate hospital wards and all the rest. And that part of the budget will be lavishly spent on sexually irresponsible gays and reduce the amount of funds for the rest of the military. 

And what will happen on the battlefield when an openly gay solider is wounded? Take it from anyone who’s been there… even small wounds bleed; big wound bleed all over the damned place; you gonna jump right in there, risk your life for some political agitators’ view of a military utopia?  

If you don’t, I’ll guarantee that you will be persecuted under the UCMJ; you will be found guilty and you will be punished and jailed.

• What if an openly gay NCO orders his recruits to shower naked? What if an openly gay officer favors other gay subordinates during her annual performance reviews?
• At an extreme, what if a unit commander, openly gay, insists that his (or her) subordinates all wear the same uniform, forcing some to cross-dress? 
• Even the absurd has to be considered, especially if one reviews the incongruous behavior of many of the openly gay community who like to display their pride in their sexuality.

(The above is exactly what will occur inside the military as soon as the militant gays in uniform start down their list of further grievances.)

Homosexuals will no longer be forced to keep it in their pants, as it were, and will do what they always do… pushy, annoying, insincere about the military mission… out and proud… and definitely loud.

There will be sensitivity training for the haters and homophobes which will certainly increase the Esprit d'Corps and unity, won't it? 

The repeal of DADT is not the end… it is only the beginning.

I mean after all, we should be more enlightened like the Europeans… right?

And if you disagree, refuse, complain, take action for the good of the mission, you will be considered a troublemaker at best and at worst you’ll be busted out of the military on a “hate crime”… you think not?

Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, 90, will retire at the end of this court session.

Then the Socialist-in-Chief will have the opportunity to transform the nation’s highest court into a left-wing oppressor of individual rights that will extend his damage to the country decades beyond his one term.

The tea leaves indicate that Obama’s nominee will be Elena Kagan, the uber dyke U.S. Solicitor General and former dean of Harvard Law School, who has never served as a judge and her Harvard gig was mostly fund-raising.

Does it matter? Some would say “no”; I believe that is a naive, short-sighted and thoughtless opinion. There is no question that the Justices’ political beliefs matter; and some are more “political” than others which is reflected in their opinions.

The next justice will be no exception.

In a nation with only 3-4 percent homosexuals, how can politicians fail to find a qualified heterosexual nominee?  “Gay” is an all-purpose answer for a beleaguered president trying to prove he’s just as big a commie as the next guy gal. ***

So Obama has tapped Kagan, below.

Moreover, there is a huge difference between the “politics” of Justice John Scalia, an “originalist” when it comes to the Constitution and a socialist like Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg who insisted that it was appropriate to rely on foreign court decisions in cases before the Court.

“Why shouldn’t we look to the wisdom of a judge from abroad with at least as much ease as we would read a law review article written by a professor?” she asked.

Justice Stephen Breyer is even more arrogant:

"If I see something written by a man or a woman who has a job like mine in another country, and who is interpreting a document somewhat like mine and who in fact has a problem in front of the court somewhat like mine, why can't I read it, see what they've done? I might learn something," Breyer said.

Identity politics….

Liberals federal court judges ignore the Constitution every day, and an Obama 5-4 body will render the court of last resort little more than a political rubber stamp of a far left wing administration. And when appointments are made on the basis of race, gender or in this case sexual preference, it is identity politics at its most harmful worst.

And there’s a better than 50-50 chance that Kagan won’t be the first Justice to play for the other team. There’s little doubt that former Justice David Souter is a homosexual; and he was a solid member of the court’s left-wing.

"David Souter isn’t gay, as far as anyone knows, says a veteran observer of the court who didn’t want to be quoted by name. “But there’s enough speculation about it that his fellow justices have to be a little more careful about what they say, at least in his presence."

"There’s enough vagueness about him as a bachelor in this regard to raise the level of debate. Even something that’s nothing more than rumor can change the equation. Why would conservatives want to risk alienating him and losing his vote forever?"

Souter, the stealth justice, was the gift of George H.W. Bush who wouldn’t recognize a conservative if he met one.  An opinion article by The Wall Street Journal some ten years after the Souter nomination called Souter a "liberal jurist" and said that former Sen. Warren Rudman took "pride in recounting how he sold Mr. Souter to gullible White House Chief of Staff John Sununu as a confirmable conservative.

The so-called Log Cabin Republicans aside, homosexuality is synonymous with left-wing politics.

The Supreme Court’s only responsibility is to uphold the Founders’ intent in writing the Constitution. And the Justices’ have no right to legislate from the bench, which is exactly what liberals in all courts do.

In District of Columbia v Heller four Justices did not believe you have a right to own, possess, and use a firearm to defend your life, your family and your property. Five did.

Is the appointment of the next Justice important?

Absolutely, and since with the addition of another left-wing lesbian, Sonia Sotomayor, the Court has probably already flipped the 5-4 majority which has held disaster at bay for a long time.

The special friend is Dawn Cardi, 57, a married lawyer who has known Sotomayor for more than two decades. Cardi’s firm, Dawn M. Cardi & Associates, is listed in a New York directory of “Gay And Lesbian Family Law” firms.

Elena Kagan, is dangerous to America. While at Harvard she fought against the so-called Solomon bill (eventually signed into law by  Bill Clinton) to allow military recruiters to meet with students and to allow the ROTC on campuses around the country.

In the challenge to Solomon all Supreme Court justices rejected Kagan's arguments. The court ruled it was constitutional for schools to refuse military recruiters and the ROTC program on their campuses, but as a result, they would be denied federal funds. 

(*** Among men aged 15 to 44, only 2.3 percent identify themselves as homosexual, 1.8 percent say they are bisexual, 3.9 percent say they are something else, and 1.8 percent did not answer the question. Among women the proportions are 1.3 percent homosexual, 2.8 percent bisexual, 3.8 percent something else, and 1.8 percent refused to answer. Just what is "something else"?)

Update: Mass murdering Muslim Nidal Malik Hasan

Faithful Reader Tony wrote to complain of the seeming dearth of news coverage regarding Army’s affirmative action shrink at Fort Hood, Nidal Malik Hasan, who was vetted so well that even talking and writing about jihad and killing U.S. soldiers didn’t result in…… anything.      

A review of usual websites and sources indicates that one, the wheels of justice grand exceeding slow, and two, since the USPCA—United States Politically Correct Army—the motto of which is “Loss of life is bad but if our diversity becomes a casualty, that's worse," the impending trial could go on forever.

But what with Hasan being paralyzed from mid-chest down, his “medical/ rehabilitation” leads me to think a mass-murder trial wouldn't begin until next fall.

And it may not even occur…. the Army is currently assembling a “sanity board” that will ascertain the level of Hasan’s mental stability at the time of the shootings. "I've been telling everyone all along that mental responsibility is the major issue in this case," said Hasan’s lawyer, John Galligan, in a statement to the Associated Press.

Hasan will likely remain at Brooke for the next several months.

Hasan, shown right in his Muslim garb in a 7-Eleven, is scheduled to be charged with 13 counts of murder and approximately 30 counts of attempted murder. There is reportedly a 14th murder charge in regards to the death of a victim’s unborn child, one Francheska Valez, though that charge is yet to have been filed.

Under the UCMJ a jury composed of 12 of Hasan's fellow officers will have to answer a narrower question: Did Major Nidal Malik Hasan murder 13 people and, if found guilty, how should he pay for his crimes?

Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice there is no provision for bail and the prosecution is required to bring its case to trial in 120 days. Once a military suspect has been informed that he is under investigation, the 120-day clock starts ticking toward the trial, by the deadline may be extended any time the defense is granted a delay.

However….. as we have seen Barack Hussein Obama as commander-in-chief (damn, I hate writing that) can and will do anything he chooses when it comes to terrorists… drop charges, release them back to al-Qaeda to kill our troops.

And let us remember that Richard Nixon intervened in the case against Lt. William Calley who murdered scores of Vietnamese civilians over the objections of his DoD Sec. Melvin Laird. Calley was freed by an appeals court after only 3½ years of military house arrest, Calley was sentenced to a life term at hard labor for the murder of only 22 villagers.

A travesty, especially since Calley should have been executed.

But GA, President Obama said: "For what he has done, we know that the killer will be met with justice — in this world, and the next."

And those who dropped the ball…. again?

On the civilian side of the case, the FBI’s former director, William H. Webster, will conduct an independent review of the bureau’s handling of information about Hasan.

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has announced his own investigation of the terrorist attack.

Prior to the November 5  murders, U.S. intelligence agencies including the FBI knew Hasan had communicated with Anwar Al-Awlaki an American-born jihadist imam who fled to Yemen in 2002. There are conflicting reports about him having been killed in a Yemeni air strike about two weeks ago although his death has not been confirmed.

Hasan shares the al-Awlaki common link with Flight 253 bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab at least two of the 9/11 hijackers and a senior Al Qaeda motivator and recruiter.

Smoking gun e-mails 

The Washington Post recently interviewed Awlaki through and intermediary about 20-some emails al-Awlaki received from Hasan were intercepted by American intelligence. A Defense Department analyst examined the messages but decided that they were consistent with “research” Major Hasan was conducting at Walter Reed Medical Center at the time and took no further action.

Federal Bureau of Investigation offices in Washington D.C. and San Diego, received the intercepted messages, but also deemed them innocent.

One of the questions Hasan clearly asked his mentor al-Awlaki clearly sought spiritual sanctions for exactly what he did at Fort Hood.

Q: "So he asked you that question (killing US soldiers) about a year before the operation was carried out?"

A: "Yes. And I wondered how the American security agencies, who claim to be able to read car license plate numbers from space, everywhere in the world, I wondered how [they did not reveal this]."

At the end of the interview al-Awlaki said, “I pray to Allah to receive him in the ranks of the martyrs, since when he did what he did he was expecting to be a martyr," Awlaki said. "If he is executed, good for him."

Awlaki, however, denies recruiting Hasan to commit violence. "Yes, I played a role in guiding his ideology, but nothing beyond that," says Awlaki.

Awlaki bemoans the fact he didn’t play a greater role in the mass-murder which he called an “heroic action."

"The operation had a military target inside America, and there's no dispute about that. “(The soldiers killed) were prepared and equipped to fight and kill oppressed Muslims."

Major Hasan also wrote that he “couldn't wait for join you in the afterlife.”

He added, "My strength is my financial capabilities."  Federal investigators have found that Hasan donated $20,000 to $30,000 a year from his $92,000 pay and allowances to overseas Islamic "charities" terrorist groups.

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 65% of Americans polled believe that the Hasan should receive the death penalty if found guilty.

But Hasan will never be executed.

First, the military hasn't executed anyone since 1961 and secondly, the PC military is not about to inject a Muslim paraplegic for a much-needed dirt nap.

But sadly for Janet Napolitano, right, the Lesbionic Homeland Security chief, she is still the ugliest woman in the administration.

Obama has named Amanda Simpson, below, to be a Senior Technical Advisor to the Commerce Department. Predictably, she said she hoped that her appointment would open the door for a more and more federal degenerates.  

“I hope that I will soon be one of hundreds, and that this appointment opens future opportunities for many others."

The YWCA named Amanda A 2004 YWCA "Woman on the Move"  and had a decidedly butch job as Deputy Director in Advanced Technology Development at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson from which she retired.

Amanda is a former test pilot who had worked for the company for more than a generation -- transitioned from male to female and was instrumental in convincing the military contractor to add “gender identity and expression” to its equal employment opportunity policy.

Later she ran unsuccessfully for Congress and was a Hillary! delegate to the 2008 DNC.

BTW: NBC owns The History channel… which in turn was owned by General Electric before it was sold last week to Comcast.

And, after his birthday party is over, his patience is rewarded, when Sailor finally returns.

Get it… ? Lighthouse? Sailor?

(this) essentially transforms the issue into a federal one–very dangerous when liberal Democrats run the show in almost every branch.  Today, the U.S. Census Bureau, tomorrow, the IRS and lots of other federal agencies. And, as you probably know, the Census isn’t just used to apportion Congressional districts.  It’s used for doling out lots of federal cash.

… the Founding Fathers never intended us to count men married to men and women married to women when they crafted, Article I, Section 2–the portion of the Constitution requiring that a national census be taken.

Exit Question:  Now that we’ve lowered the bar, when do we start counting ménage à trois as marriages?

TORONTO (AP) - Police have charged the tour manager of the Black Eyed Peas with assault after he allegedly gave celebrity blogger Perez Hilton a black eye outside a Toronto nightclub.

Hilton said he got into an argument with band members Fergie and will.i.am at a nightclub early Monday morning and was punched outside by Polo Molina, the band's tour manager.

Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, complained about the incident on his Twitter site. He tweeted at 4 a.m.: "I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."

Hilton, who is openly gay, said that he called will.i.am a "faggot," a gay slur, inside the club after the musician told the blogger not to write about his band on his Web site.

"He was like 'You need to respect me.' He was in my face. He was obviously trying to intimidate me and scare me," Hilton said. "I knew (what) would be the worst thing I could possibly say to him.... I said 'You know what, I don't respect you and you're gay and stop being such a faggot.'"

Hilton, along with Lady Gaga, (right) then left the club and was punched from behind.

In short, a black black-eyed pea, sucker-punched a gay tweeting faggot for calling another black black-eyed pea a faggot and was later twittered on by the same non-black, non-black-eyed pea faggot.
