Sorry for the drop off in posts; I had the every 4-5 year computer freeze up/blow down and am working on an old laptop.

Time to spend $$ I hadn't counted on.

The Mac devotees would say I have the wrong PC, but I don't want to learn an entire new system.

I had a really decent post for Dec. 7... essentially that we've gone from "Remember Pearl Harbor!" to "Prosecute Our SEALs!"

In essence that was it; when you think of it that's a lot.

The flat-earthers in Cope-N-haaggunn number as many as 20,000... and five rag-head terrorists. It occurred to me mind that if someone set off a truck load of C4 in the midst of thousands of environmental whack-jobs and a handful of poseur politicians, I wouldn't shed a tear. 

And now that the so-called "Danish text" has been leaked, exposing the entire scam as a gigantic con, and designed to undermine small countries.... the entire enviro-idiots are done; but that does not mean that your Congress and President won't sign it anyway.

When you look at the world today... especially the U.S. government, it's like touring a movie lot; intricate facades which front enormous plywood constructs. Or if you will, the "Pay no attention to the Man behind the curtain" scene from Wizard of Oz.

Problem is... 70 percent of most people don't care to step around back, being content to live lives of mindless emotion.... "can't we all just get along?"

No, Virginia... there is no Utopia.

The problem is... Utopians, if they remember, vote.

Think of it, you read, you discuss, you think and fret; you worry about the country you're leaving your children, pray... and you vote--only to have it canceled by a idiot who only needed "Hope and Change" to exercise their franchise.

In Obama's America…. there are no coincidences

“The plot thickens on the media’s character-lynching of Rush Limbaugh. Of the four stories run on ESPN.com about Limbaugh’s bid for the Rams (October 6, October 12, October 15, and another October 15) none of them mention that NFL Players Association Executive Director Maurice Smith served as counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder and was a member of Barack Obama’s transition team.”

Obviously out to torpedo Limbaugh’s bid to join the ownership of the St. Louis Rams, Smith sent an e-mail to the union's executive committee last Saturday which stated:

I've spoken to the Commissioner [Roger Goodell] and I understand that this (Limbaugh’s) ownership consideration is in the early stages. But sport in America is at its best when it unifies, gives all of us reason to cheer, and when it transcends. Our sport does exactly that when it overcomes division and rejects discrimination and hatred.

As I posted yesterday, “… if this can happen to Limbaugh, considering he is the proverbial 600-pound gorilla of broadcasting and has…. well, Rush dollars, it can happen to any of us.”

Make no mistake, this was a political hit.

If you don’t think that the Administration’s ballerina, Rahm Emmanuel, picked up the phone and call Obama’s house boy, Eric Holder the Attorney General, and told him to call Smith to play the players’ race card, well, I don’t have time to go through it again.

"In 30 years on Capitol Hill, I never saw Congress mangle the defense budget as badly as this year," said Winslow Wheeler, a former Senate staffer who worked on defense funding and oversight for both Republicans and Democrats.

The Senate has siphoned off $2.6 billion from DoD accounts that literally pay for fuel, ammunition and training for U.S. troops, including those fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And used for what instead?

Well, there’s the $20 million stolen to to launch an educational institute to be named after Sen. Ted Kennedy.

In what was called "a worthy investment", the cash was taken from the support and training accounts by Sen. Dan Inouye (a Medal of Honor Recipient) and Sen. John Kerry, who I understand was in Vietnam. 

Other pork included:

• $20 million for the Maui Space Surveillance System in Hawaii, requested by Inouye.
• Inouye inserted 35 “earmarks” worth more than $206 million, but was out-stolen by ranking Republican on the committee, Sen. Thad Cochran, with 48 pet projects totaling $216 million.

Beyond the creative accounting, the bill includes $2.5 billion for 10 Boeing C-17 cargo planes that the military says it does not need, and $1.7 billion for an extra DDG-51 destroyer not requested in the Pentagon's budget proposal.

An analysis of the fiscal raiding party points out that "Air Force and Navy combat pilots training to deploy are getting about half of the flying hours they got at the end of the Vietnam War."

"Army tank crews get less in tank training today than they did during the low-readiness Clinton years,” the report said.

To its possible credit, the White House Office of Management and Budget has called on lawmakers to reverse the cuts.

But I suspect the “call” was muted at best and issued only to provide the administration with national defense cover.

Let us not forget--Obama is the Big Satan, but Congress is the Little Satan.

As usual; I’m trying to stuff 10 gallons of crap into a beer can because the leftist useful idiots in the country (once 68 million strong, but now some have seen the light) keep pushing, like the drunk in the bar who keeps poking you in the chest and you’re just waiting until the number of pokes exceeds your good nature.

My good nature was exceeded in the late 70s.

For me the Crowley-Gates-Obama side show has gained (my latest) last-straw status.

The president of the united states is a sorry-ass punk, if he was in the joint, his nick name would be Chanteeka; if he was was on a lifeboat he’d be the first one tossed to the sharks, or eaten on board; if he was at the beach the line to kick sand in his face would stretch back to the portapotties.

Keep your friends close; hold your president closer.

When this moral and physical coward son-of-a-bitch bastard (truth is always the best defense against libel) essentially condemned Cambridge PD Sgt. James Crowley as a “stupid racist”, I’d hoped that all the cops in the nation would send a delegation to D.C. and surround the effing White House.

They didn’t, but Crowley’s fellow officers, black, brown and white, demanded a apology from Obama… they didn’t get it. 

The empty resume.

This jug-eared a-hole has never walked down a dark alley alone doing a job not one person in 10,000 will do, to ensure public order. He’s only reported in to his pitiful affirmative action, rabble-sousing jobs, never wondering if he would come home in one piece.

Every minute of every day his current employment provides him with solid steel, 24-7 personal protection provided by (primarily white) men whose job description requires stepping in front of POTUS to take an assassin’s bullet.

Yet he has the stones to criticize a man with a badge, and entire department of all colors, as unprofessional racists when it’s he who is the damned racist and an embarrassment to the entire nation.

Obama said this of Crowley who attempted to save the life of Boston Celtic Reggie Lewis with CPR who collapsed during basket practice 16 years ago. Try to convince Lewis’ family the great cop is bigot. 

What next, a two-week apology tour of Africa begging forgiveness for the excesses of the Cambridge P.D.?

The (only) good thing about Obama being president is that his incompetence and massive failures will end the possibility of another black president for at least 30 years.

How can I say that?

Because 95 percent of the blacks voted for him… they (and the liberal white guilt  sufferers)should have chosen a better representative of their race in this ObamaNation brought to us by the Racist-in-Chief hisself.

Instead of being “post-racial” and being a “uniter, not a divider”, he has intentionally, with malice aforethought divided this nation from the top down. With this kind of example from the highest office in the land, blacks have squandered the greatest opportunity of the last century; it almost verges of the edge of societal suicide, ensuring they as a group will remain a permanent underclass.  

Obama and the other Professional Magic Negroes have predictably lined up the last several days to deny the presumption of innocence to a white man, a white cop, while simultaneously claiming to be those who are always denied the presumption of innocent.

Dog bites man.

Gates a “Harvard scholar of African-American Studies”?

That’s about as valid as the Amish protesting gasoline prices.

Li’l Skippy Gates is just another race hustling, affirmative-action jack-ass who, under self-imposed pressure that night with Sgt. Crowley could only come up with:

• “this is what happens to a black man in America” and “you don’t know who you’re messing with”.
• “Yeah, I’ll speak with your mama outside”.

The only thing Skippy missed was “yo” and  “m***er-f***er”—black America’s label of choice when confronted with any type of authority.

And I’m tired to being lectured by black “preachers”, “ministers” and “pastors” who are nothing more than an on-going IRS tax avoidance scam who remain tax free to run down this country, its law enforcement agencies and… oh yeah, the honkies and the crackers, even inciting blacks mobs to arson and murder.

Sharpton was “ordained” as a Pentecostal “minister” in the second grade.

I’ve outraged by blacks’ wildly disproportionate criminality to their percentage of population all my adult life, and even more outraged to be subjected to them bitching that white people are somehow responsible for their sorry asses ending up in the joint.

Among the 16 people charged in a 31 count indictment from October 1, 2007 include former Dallas mayor pro-tem Don Hill, his former political consultant and now current wife Sheila Farrington-Hill, Hill's former plan commissioner D'Angelo Lee, developer Brian Potashnik and wife Cheryl, owners of Southwest Housing, current State Representative Terri Hodge of Dallas and former (and late) Dallas councilman James Fantroy, who was convicted by a jury on unrelated charges of embezzling money from Paul Quinn College.
This massive corruption case became public in a major way on June 20, 2005.

Twelve of the 16, including all of the public officials, are black. The first thing heard from the arch criminal Fantroy was that the trials would be “the biggest mess since O.J."

A threat….? Hell yes it was a threat.

You think this is limited to my state? Don’t get out much do ya?

Realities

Reality finds a way to present itself.

Yesterday I was testing a new telephoto lens about 70-80 meters off I-35 outside my town.

By rapidly taking shots of the passing 65-mph traffic, I was  judging the the lens’ “quickness.”

My attention was quickly drawn to this old veteran in cammo, bearing the outward signs of long and arduous service.

After I got home and started running my shots through my photo software I was surprised to learn that this up-armored six-by (although The Ninja reports: “We just called 'em five tons.  I guess they could pull five tons or something. Globalsecurity.org calls 'em M939s.”) had seen its share of recent combat and as a result was headed to destinations unknown.

There were two closely-spaced, large-caliber hits obviously directed at the driver.

Neither of the shots appeared to have penetrated the bullet-resistant windshield,and there were other battle damage on the frame and hood.

Thanks to the free market and American ingenuity, 42-pound multilayered glass and polymer laminate barriers are installed as side window kits on the workhorse military transports, which requires four per vehicle. Humvee windshield sections, for example, weighing 260 pounds each. 

This type of increased protection has saved an untold number of lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So… even on a quiet, hot, muggy morning in North Texas there are reminders of the sacrifices of our servicemen and women now in harm’s way… most of them unknown, unheralded and sadly, largely unappreciated.  

Take just a moment to study the photos, remember, and give thanks for those who stand between us and death and slavery.

And now, back to the madness which we join still (unfortunately) in progress.

Today I’m reminded of the man twirling the plates on sticks…. most often seen on the Ed Sullivan Show or a circus.

Barack Obama is that man; he is obviously out of his depth and experience, yet he maintains a flurry of activity that is “all hat and no cattle” as they say down here in Texas. He insists on twirling an enormous number of foreign and domestic plates and 90% of them are wobbling, yet in response, he adds more plates or one of our foreign enemies throws another at us.

The disaster is obvious and near upon us.

Where are the results from the near-$800 billion stimulus which to not just important, but critical to our very economic survival?

Better yet, where is the damned money…?

 

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 32% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –5.

The number who strongly disapprove inched up another point to the highest level measured to date and the overall Approval Index is at the lowest level yet for Obama.

 

Governor Palin sounds off in the current Time mag:

“President Obama is growing government outrageously, and it's immoral and it's uneconomic, his plan that he tries to sell America. His plan to "put America on the right track" economically, incurring the debt that our nation is incurring, trillions of dollars that we're passing on to our kids, expecting them to pay off for us, is immoral and doesn't even make economic sense. So his growth of government agenda needs to be ratcheted back, and it's going to take good people who have the guts to stand up to him, stand up to him and debate policy, not personalities, not partisan politics, but policy to effect the change that we need there.”

Where are the Republicans—especially male GOPers—when it comes to calling a spade a spade…?

Clearly, the best man in the Republican Party is a woman.

This morning's nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court was as big a surprise as the next the next time Joe Biden reveals another national defense secret.

Once again America... Obama is doing exactly what he told us he'd do:

• "We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom," Obama said at a Planned Parenthood conference in 2007. "The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old. And that's the criterion by which I'm going to be selecting my judges."

And here's what we are likely to get:

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.” Sotomayor in 2001.

Any confusion? Any attempt to deceive the American voter? None whatsoever.

With a diabetic Latina in The Big Robe (which will at long last shatter the dreaded Insulin/Español ceiling) are a huge step closer to a socialist worker's paradise in which the Constitution will continue to be systematically dismantled. At age 55 next month Sotomayor will have at least 20 years to cause irreparable damage to the Nation.

In 1997 she was nominated to her present position, Circuit Judge-U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, by Bill Clinton.

Senate Republicans saw today coming and didn't want to consider the nomination because elevating a party hack like Sotomayor to the Appeals Court would enhance her prospects of being appointed to the Supreme Court.

An anonymous senator put a secret hold on her nomination; the nomination pending for over a year, when Judiciary Committee Chairman and part-time Republic Orrin Hatch and six other Republicans who are still in the Senate today, voted for Sotomayor's confirmation to the Second Circuit. With solid Democratic support, and support from about half of Republicans, Sotomayor was confirmed in late October, 67-29.

Sotomayor has been overturned in 80% of her federal court decisions.

She is perhaps best know for for her decision that the City of New Haven could throw out its promotional test for firefighters because no minority employees could pass the examination.

You know the familiar left-wing solution... when you don't get the results you want, change the rules. She agreed with the City that the City could start over with a new test, because it had a "disparate impact" on minority firefighters and it might therefore be subject to a lawsuit from minority firefighters if it certified the test results.

White firefighters who passed the exam sued on grounds of racial discrimination; the case, Ricci v. DeStefano, was recently heard by the U.S. Supreme Court and will be ruled on next month.

Sotomayor is a racist, bigot, socialist activist who is in league with Obama regime to destroy our form of government; their ability to carry out the plans will depend greatly on what a handful of Republican senators do.

Either they are patriots who will oppose her nomination in any way possible to the bitter end, or they will serve once again as useful idiots of the Left.

E pluribus unum

While exiting Thom Thumb (my neighborly grocery store) just now, I learned from a poster that March is "Women's History Month".

Needless to say, the news brought with it a Chris Matthews-like tingle up my leg at the realization that I found out this early in the month.  Yay!

What a double-header... back-to-back with February's Black History Month.

And I know we're all looking forward to next fall's Hispanic Heritage Month which has two or three distinctions in comparison to women's and blacks' months. First, it sidesteps the whole "history" theme by using "heritage"; secondly, "month" is a bit of a misnomer, as it covers a 30-day period starting Sept 15 and ending Oct. 15.

Regardless, any such months, and days and weeks are fraudulent, and a ridiculous waste of time.

Being considered an "historical" American doesn't have a damned thing to do with heritage, gender or color.

Example: 68 million voted for Obama because of his skin color (including 98 percent of the black voters) which makes them racists.

I'm being kind with the term. I refuse to believe that the majority of the electorate is mentally impaired enough to have voted for him on the basis of his qualifications.

Because Rice plays Texas

In a 1962 speech at Rice University Jack Kennedy invoked the quintessential "can do" attitude of the American people, focusing on our strength of purpose, unity and collective skills necessary to reach the moon and return by the end of the decade.

"But why, some say, the moon? Why choose this as our goal? And they may well ask why climb the highest mountain. Why, 35 years ago, fly the Atlantic? Why does Rice play Texas?

"We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard...."

Any valid historical achievement by Americans is due to their individual skills and talents which were nurtured and made possible by living in the greatest country in the world history.

In short form... the history of women, blacks, and Hispanics exist under the mantle of American history and should not be set apart or separately honored. All such faux  celebrations (like Kwaanza) weaken the American fabric, by placing disproportionate emphasis on our differences rather than our unity.

This is a case of "tail wags dog" because females, blacks, Hispanics and all other splinter groups combined do not come remotely close to the achievements of historical significant white males.

By using the rationale of these ridiculous, self-important "months", White Male Month should be honored, paraded and solemnly observed every other week year round.    

So why isn't it?

Because men, particularly white men, are far more interested in being Americans than celebrating something over which they had no control such as gender or race; what is the achievement there?

Most heterosexual white males don't spend a great deal of time patting themselves on the back; as a group, we prefer to allow our achievements, contributions and reputations to speak for us.

Hence, no "month" or week or day.

Besides it's unseemly, lacking in dignity and smacks of Hollywood actors and actresses who are so insecure that they give themselves awards and parties on an embarrassingly regular basis.

And of course these self-important factions must attack, denigrate, slander and undermine white males in order to make themselves feel better and more important.

Racial minorities, feminists and their fellow travelers, and gays, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgendered and the downright confused blame the existence and depth of their real and imagined miseries on SWM--straight, white, males.

It's easy to target us because historically we've not seen fit to defend ourselves against the ridiculous rantings of the radical fringe; that was a mistake because we have allowed this "celebrate diversity" apartheid cacophony to undermine and weaken the America for which we--white males--are primarily responsible.

Look around... look at our pathetic, whining, emasculated modern society.

Everything that is associated with our greatness as a culture, a society and a nation has been systematically undermined for half a century, and by not standing up for ourselves we have not defended America.

• Military service is routinely denigrated and slandered by entertainers, the news media, on the floor of Congress and even the Oval Office.
• We have allowed our children to be systematically brain-washed in government school run by the very people who need special months.
• We have even allowed American history to be heavily edited, filled with lies and parroted by our domestic enemies until you would not recognize your country in the pages of a junior high school text book.
• We have allowed divorce and family courts to destroy men financially, professionally, emotionally and spiritually.
• We have helped elect the kind of people we wouldn't walk across the street to spit on, and allowed them to control our lives and take away our freedoms.

If we do not begin to reassert ourselves in our traditional role which was most responsible for building, defending and preserving the United States... if we do not regain the upper hand and soon, the demise of our once great nation can be logically and honestly laid at the doorstep of the real American male.

Since I was a child I've had to listen to an endless stream of bull about race in this country; I'm done and have been for some time now.

I am sick to death of--yes, I'm going to write it--you people whining, blaming everyone and everything for your inability, unwillingness and absence of motivation to get off your dead asses and better yourself... it's not your color keeping you down...  it's your collective attitude, your lack of education (which is free, BTW), you're unwillingness to fulfil your parental responsibilities, your penchant for crimes big and small, and your endless demands for free this and free that.

And I don't want to hear another word about slavery; has nothing to do with me, or you. There isn't a soul alive today affected by slavery in any possible way... it started 300 YEARS AGO and ended in 1865.

And why did it end 144 years ago? Because 500,000 white men died or gave their arms, legs, and the ability to speak, hear and see to that noble cause.

"...a nation of cowards"?... Holder, you son-of-a-bitch, go to hell. 

Reparations? Please write and tell me you deserve them... I'll ask you if any of your relatives were killed in the Civil War... and laugh in your face.

America was the first and really only country to so decisively end the evil practice of slavery. And now with a Halfrican-American in the White House you (like the obese Henrietta Hughes who demanded Obama give her and her 39-year-old son a house and more money) may think your ship has come in... guess what? For most of you, it's a canoe. Suck it up and paddle the damned thing.

I am sick of your fake "African heritage" when your family has been here for 300 years... you're an American, act like it... Shantiquea.

You're black, I'm white... get over it; I certainly have; in fact I've never had a problem with your color. Can you say the same?  

I'm sick and tired of your Martin Luther King Day crap... you have the only national holiday for a private citizen (hell, there's racism for ya), a street named "MLK" in every city over 5,000 and you're still fawning over a family that has outrageously copyrighted King's "I have a dream" speech. 

That's right America, if you use his words from the speech, the King Family grifters are gonna sick their attorney's on you. None of King's offspring have done a gawdamned thing since 1968, yet blacks and those afflicted with W.G.D. (White Guilt Disorder) act like they're some sort of royalty.  

He's dead... get over it.

And just so you know... he was a plagiarist, a communist sympathizer and fellow-traveler, a serial adulterer or possessed of what one biographer called King's "compulsive sexual athleticism" (now there's a euphuism).

In addition to being a great speaker and a force for civil rights... he was also a fraud and hypocrite.

I'm sick of Black History Month which seems to happen about every three months.

I don't want to hear another damned thing about peanut experiments, Malcolm X (hey, there's a name), Rosa Parks, Sojourner Truth or noted communists like W.E.B. Dubois and Paul Robeson.

Shut the hell up... especially when less than five percent of you people don't have the faintest clue who this great American was.

"Hip-hop" is not music, nor is it a "community", nor does it in any way contribute anything positive to black youth unless you believe your son's a P.I.M.P. and your daughter's a "ho".

It's a scam... which defines 90 percent of "African-American popular culture", such as:

Ebonics (sic), Kwaanza, athletes "earning" degrees in "communications", affirmative action, wearing a baseball cap every way but facing forward, and buying clothes because they have BUFU stamped on them.

"BUFU" stands for "By Us For Us"... you know, in that cultural melting pot, post-racial, diversity code in which blacks speak.

Oh, and it also stands for "By Us F**K You"... which I believe was the whole point in the first place. 

And while I'm at it... it's "birthday"... not "burfday."

I'm tired of you screaming "racism" when you're arrested in numbers astronomically greater than your percentage of the population; and I remain amazed at law enforcement officers' restraint (regardless of their color) when you get out waving your arms and shouting "you don't know me" when your vehicle is pulled over on COPS.

Some black comedian had sage advice in such situations... "shut... the... f**k...up!"

Bulletin... if you do not speak correctly, "white" if you insist, you will remain in under-paying jobs commiserate with your minimum communications skills, such as "you waan fries wif dat?"

Does James Earl Jones (The Voice of God) speak like that? Was he the signature voice of CNN and and Darth Vader because he "be keepin' it real" and "be down wit dat"?

If I cannot understand you without the help of Barbara Billingsley, then guess what... I don't give give a damn what you have to say.

Far too many of you live in a fantasy world as you try to rationalize doing absolutely nothing with your lives, which holds you back and assigns you to a permanent underclass in a nation of unlimited potential and promise.  

Exhibit A: Advocates of African American Vernacular English proudly proclaimed it has equal standing with "the king's English" when it is nothing more than gigantic excuse for indecipherable speech and a demonstrated lack of critical thinking.

And while I'm at it, no one is going to take my speech away. Despite what some black elected officials in Washington D.C. believe, "niggardly" is a perfectly serviceable non-racist word; just like the aforementioned "you people"; "lynch" and "boy" can be legitimately used by a non-racist just like "watermelon", "'fried chicken" and "grits"--all of which are readily available and consumed on a frequent basis here in my pre-dominantly white-as-rice town.

No one will put words in my mouth or take them away by playing the race card.

Hummm... what else? I know.. black readers stopped about 500 words back, because they know I speak the truth and they don't like it, too bad.

And that truth, regardless of what Eric Holder says or believes, is that America is not based on racial or cultural diversity; it is not a "melting pot" and never has been... the bright thread in the American quilt is assimilation. I can move to France and never be a Frenchman, live in Berlin and never be a German, but thank God I am American, just like anyone who legally immigrates.

In far less time, the Vietnamese got that, the Chinese got it, the Italians got it; hell, even the Irish got it.

In this country, the greatest country in the world, in history, and for the foreseeable future, anyone can grow up to be a Supreme Court Justice, a Secretary of State... why, even someone with black skin can become President of the most important nation on the face of the Earth.

But only in America.

the newly sworn-in President... blew off the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball”, the first and only time that has happened in 14 Inaugurations.

So where was our new President instead of honoring Medal of Honor Recipients who by some miracle are still alive?

• In addition to the Neighborhood Ball, the other nine also featured many stars such as Kid Rock and Kaney West at the Youth Ball, Cheryl Crow at the Midwest one, and Marc Anthony at the Western Ball.

Kid Rock you'll remember likes to deface our flag by cutting a hole in it and wearing it as a poncho.

You recall slug rap-thug West maligned President George Bush after Katrina, saying on national television: "George Bush doesn't care about black people!"

And Cheryl Crow, the minimally-talented, leftist pain-in-the-ass, apparently 86'd boyfriend Lance Armstrong on the following grounds:

"Cheryl said Lance didn't just support Bush, he'd go off and fight if the president asked him to," the friend said.

Imagine that... people who would go off and fight, perhaps die, for their beliefs... say, someone like these men:

The word I received about Recipient background chatter was that most of them were angered by the obvious disrespect shown The Medal... the national symbol of our military's service and sacrifice.

Biden made but a brief appearance at the ball, but did not meet with or acknowledge the score of Recipients who had braved sub-freezing weather to attend Obama's swearing-in.

The Vice-President, by the way, received five student draft deferments during his Vietnam War college years, and was eventually rejected for asthma, despite his superior record as high school athlete.

And of course, Obama's military experience is limited to wearing t-shirts printed with "USMC".

The “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball”, which started in 1953 with President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s first inauguration, is sponsored by the American Legion to specifically recognize Recipients and other service members.

Event co-sponsors include 13 other veterans service organizations, among them the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Oh, and for the benefit of the Obama White House... those last groups are comprised of the paralyzed, blind, burned, disfigured and amputated men and women who ensured with their bodies and their very lives that there was a White House to occupy.    

And speaking of another first...

Go through eight years of his White House photos, and you won't find a single one of former President Bush in the Oval Office without his jacket on.

And before him that was President Reagan's rule (and for everyone who entered the Oval Office).

It's called respect for the office... any money on when he appears in the O.O. dressed in his gym clothes? Of course it could be worse... another great democrat president appeared in the Oral Oval Office with his trousers at half-staff.

I could be wrong, but I do not recall a shirt-sleeve photo of President Kennedy... of course that was when democrats were still Americans.

You may recall that PBS’s Gwen Ifill, the totally un-biased moderator of the only 2008 vice-presidential debate, just coincidentally wrote a book titled “The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama,” which just coincidentally was published on Inauguration Day.

At the launch party for the Obama book, Obama cookies were served to fellow left journos David Broders and Jim Lehrers beneath “Be The Change” Obama propaganda posters.  No word on what drinks were served, aside from the standard-issue Kool-Aid.

CNN's orange-haired septuagenarian chatterbox Larry King has been bowled over by the new Age of Obama, enthusing that his youngest offspring (from his seventh marriage) wants to be black. I guess it's a case of black being, er, the new black.

Interviewing a visibly uncomfortable Bob Woodward on his eponymous CNN show, Larry, 75, gushed: "My younger son Cannon, he is eight. And he now says that he would like to be black. I'm not kidding. He said there's a lot of advantages. Black is in.

Is this a turning of the tide?

The Watergate scribbler responded "well, maybe" and talked about how his 12-year-old daughter Diana liked Barack Obama's inaugural speech before gingerly steering the discussion towards George W. Bush's magnanimity and how he "hasn't, you know, made any cheap shots" at his White House successor.

It could have been worse, Bob.

The other day, Larry blurted out that things were changing so fast that there could soon be a lesbian in the Oval Office. "Who would've thunk it," he said on KIIS radio in Los Angeles. "I can't believe it. Well, in 10 years' time we'll have, a what, a lesbian?" Audio here.

Lesbian in the Oval office...? well, who better than the uber butch MSNBC opinionist Rachel Maddow who, like terrorist and Obama butt-buddy Bill Ayers, Kid Rock and virtually every black American Olympic athlete, also likes to desecrate our flag.

 

And if not her, what about Obama's new Homeland Security director, the oh-so imminently qualified Janet Napolitano -- former AZ governor.

High priced, low-quality items such as t-shirts, basketballs (naturally), calendars, stamps, coins, posters, golf balls, tote bags, money clips, hot sauce and thong underwear are available to the citizens of Obamanation.

Auction site eBay has more than 20,000 Obama items are currently available and that's just one of the  online sources of such drek.

Even so-called "conservative" pundits such as Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved and all those elites of the right who had the P-E over for lunch the other day have lip-synced the "he's our president and I hope he's successful" claptrap.... except my homie, Chuck Krauthhammer.

I do not wish this completely unqualified glorified state legislator, this Chicago political hack, this great white hope of our enemies, well in his presidency.

When I played football in high school and college, when I was in Vietnam, when I was in court against PsychoBitchFromHell, my last ex-wife, I didn't wish my enemies well.

I do not now.

But GA, we all have to support our president.

Really? I don't remember any of that over the last eight years.

When a politician (or any such empty suit) cannot establish his own personality, his own style, he invokes the mannerisms, speech or appearance of someone well regarded by others in order to gain some advantage and above all, win. 

So it is with Obama... he drags The Great Emancipator and FDR around in what can only be regarded as abuse of a corpse.

It's such a obvious and cheap cliche... especially since Lincoln was a right-wing Republican who presided over the bloodiest war in our nation's history.

Trust me, over the next four years you'll grow even more weary of Barry conjuring up Abe's ghost.

The really ironic part is that he's not even "black"... he's an Arab-American.

This is in part "the Clinton ruse" whose presidency was defined by the "focus group" approach... a marketing and advertising process by which the product can be tested and then reversed engineered so it will appeal to the greatest number of people.

This is the exact reason why most movies today suck... "alternate ending" my arse. But I digress.

In the finest tradition of doctors protecting doctors and attorneys protecting attorneys, His Eminence, The One, has looked into the Gov. Blago selling his Senate seat to the highest bidder and amazingly, has determined that neither he or anyone else in his retinue did anything improper.

Shocking.

That of course is their default position... "We didn't do anything, and even if we did, we misspoke. Besides, it's all a right-wing conspiracy."

A note to real Americans on the eve of The Occupation:

Of course Gov. Blago will get away with everything, after the US Attorney monkey-wrenches his own investigation in order to stop it before someone drops a dime on the Obamans. 

Obama will get away with it too. The news media didn't spend the last two years creating a Manchurian Candidate just to see him go "poof" three weeks before he desecrates The Great Emancipator's Bible by swearing on it come Jan. 20. 

We cannot let these "losses" get us down. The left has been getting away with murder for decades, we just need to make sure that we treat Barack Hussein Obama with the the same respect they showed President Bush.

We know what the big issues are and so, we pick our fights.

Another such loss is the in-your-face theft of Norm Coleman's Senate seat by has-been TV buffoon, tax evader and failed radio talk show host, Stuart Smiley.

The socialists in Minnesota (known for electing a former professional wrestler as governor) have added insult to criminal injury by "finding" ballots virtually everything... and always just enough to total more than whatever the recount found for the incumbent.

If I were Coleman I would write a scathing indictment of Washington and Minnesota democrats, get a real job and enjoy the rest of my life.

When the Senate has people like Al Franken, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and perhaps soon, Princess Caroline of Camelot, then a mockery has been made of its membership standards.  

Does anyone remember?

Twenty years ago Monday all 243 passengers and 16 crew members aboard Pan Am Flight 103 were murdered when a Lybian-backed terrorist bomb below apart the 747 over Lockerbie Scotland.

The 180 of the victims were American; the bombing stood as the deadliest terrorist attack against the United States until 9/11. There were 11 more ground casualties killed by large sections of the plane fell in and around Lockerbie, bringing total fatalities to 270.  

The people of Lockerbie opened their hearts and homes to the victims' family members who arrived to identify their dead. They set up canteens where the families, police and rescue workers would rest, and find food and coffee.

The townspeople who lives with the dead littering their neighborhoods for several days while forensic experts collected all available evidence. Later they meticulously washed, dried, and ironed every piece of clothing that was found after investigators released them; they were given to the grieving families.

Only one of only two terrorist was eventually convicted and sentenced to life. See that's what happens in Europe and in much of America... you help murder almost 300 men women and children, and you get 27 years in prison, maybe.

Of course the waste of skin appealed three times and a hearing was granted on the grounds he "may have suffered a miscarriage of justice". The hearing referred the case to the Court of Criminal Appeal in Edinburgh.

And just as with all the terrorist attacks in the 90s under CnC Clinton, no retaliation of any real measure was mounted against the subhumans who killed our fellow Americans.

It is little wonder that it finally took an aggressive president and 3,000, not 300 dead, to finally start killing massive numbers of ragheads in retribution; may all their families die as well.
