A clear and present danger...

Do you believe homosexuality is a sin? Does your pastor? Has he read aloud the pertinent passage from King James condemning such behavior as sinful?

Do you know a health teacher, physician, nurse who has told a patient or a patient's family, class that many male homosexual acts present a health risk, or can in fact be suicidal or even homicidal?

If so, you need to know about pending federal "hate-crime" legislation that would put all of the above "criminals" in prison for using their previously, Constitutionally-protected freedom of speech.

House Resolution 1592 and S.B. 1005 have been quietly marching through Congress while most of your neighbors watched American Idol. The House version might come to the floor vote within the next day or two, and has a good chance of passage.

Authored by far leftist democrat Rep. John Conyers, H.R. 1592 would support pre-existing "local, state or tribal hate crime" laws, make homosexuals a protected group along the lines of "... race, freed or color", would provide for enhanced punishment of those found guilty of such "crimes".

"Title 18 of the US Criminal Code, Section 2 (a):

(a) Whoever commits an offense against the United States or aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures its commission, is punishable as a principal."

Here's why the full force of this law could eventually come directly at you anywhere in the country... HR 1592 will provide "grants.. for programs designed to combat hate crimes committed by juveniles, including programs to train local law enforcement officers in identifying, investigating, prosecuting, and preventing hate crimes."

And remember... your local D.A. or police chief has never turned down a federal grant of any kind. 

Clearly, your pastor, doctor or you, as a "principal" could face prison in what constitutes the most serious threat to freedom or religion and speech in our history.

The Federal Thought Police are coming behind a vanguard of Homo Brown Shirts.

World Net Daily Columnist Janet Folger points out this threat is most certainly not hypothetical:

"Robbing someone outside a convenience store is a Class-B felony in New Hampshire, which typically carries a sentence of three and a half to seven years in state prison along with a $4,000 fine. But according to (New Hampshire prosecutor) Roger Chadwick, if convicted of a 'hate crime' (shouting an anti-homosexual name during the robbery), the sentence becomes enhanced by 23-26 1/2 years – turning a three-year sentence into a 30-year sentence."

Twenty-three-year-old John Guimond faced exactly those changes after he was arrested for stealing a cell phone from a homosexual and his "under age male partner" in a parking lot.
