As promised this is the official motto of the socialist political coup d' tat under which America now functions.
Watch this swiftly become the guiding force in the coming weeks as the Obama administration cranks the "Swine Flu" into something that will have nothing to do with the nation's health, but with further consolidation of the strangle hold on our collective throats.
Meanwhile, Obama goes golfing.
First tip off that this crisis will be well-used:
Yesterday the obligatory suits (Napolitano's came from Men's Wearhouse) gathered to blather at us about the "crisis" of swine flu. Conspicuous in their absence were the Surgeon General of the United State and the Secretary of Health and Human Services and a director of the Center for Disease Control.
So intent on his 2009 World Apology World Tour, Obama hasn't had time to fill these positions.
Instead we had Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano calling the shots.... curious when you consider that this administration has done nothing to protect our borders. After all, what can she do or say about a viral infection?
Test airline passengers coming in from Mexico? No... Obama's HSS doesn't see the need for that.... might be considered "profiling".
Note too the government types and the medically-ignorant news media's continual reference to the 1918-1919 Flu pandemic that killed 500,000 in the US and 20 million world wide.
Comparing The Great Flu Epidemic to this is like comparing the Wight Brothers' Flyer with the the Joint Strike Fighter.
Ponder: Why do people die in other nations of the flu in the thousands each year, and Americans do not in the same percentages?
Simple... we have the best health care system in the world; and keep in mind, a few years ago 15,000 French citizens died during a heat wave that was no worse than the routine summer weather in the US Southwest every year.
But the French were dying on gurneys in hospital corridors with simple heart stroke... the government was unprepared... imagine that.
The French wanted, demanded, their health care be in the hands of government bureaucrats... they got it.
And speaking of... Obama/Kennedy/ Hillary Socialized Care is on the verge of being made law in this "pandemic" panic environment.
"The fast-track process would protect Obama's ambitious plan to overhaul the U.S. health care system from a potential GOP filibuster and limit the Republicans' ability to get concessions. It also would give Democrats far more control over the specifics of the health care legislation."
Let's hear what Larry Summers, Obama’s chief economic adviser, says on the subject: “whether it’s tonsillectomies or hysterectomies . . . procedures are done three times as frequently [in some parts of the country than others] and there’s no benefit in terms of the health of the population. And by doing the right kind of cost-effectiveness, by making the right kinds of investments and protection, some experts that we — estimate that we could take as much as $700 billion a year out of our health care system.”
Got that... Larry Summers who can't even perform CPR or the Heimlich Maneuver, is on the verge of helping decide what health treatment you and your children will recieve.
Back to my point.... since we've become a nation of sheeple, we are easily panicked, and thus easily lead; socialist know this, count of this. Hell, they said the gigantic theft of our children's and grandchildren's financial future, had to be passed so quickly in that week's "crisis" that it was made law without even being read... by anyone.
We will pay for that egregious mistake for generations, but they will pay for socialized medicine with their lives.
And it's not just your health and well-being; U.S. Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK), M.D., is a practicing physician specializing in obstetrics. In his opinion, this "de-facto takeover of the health insurance market by the government" will crush our seriously wounded economy... also courtesy of the socialist takeover.
With little fanfare, Congressional leaders may be near to agreeing on the most sweeping expansion of government in a generation - the de-facto takeover of the health insurance market by the government. Congressional Democrats are already icing the champagne. When the President's "Medicare for all" plan is coupled with the budget, which contains a "down payment" of $634 billion over the next decade for health care, government-run health care may be inevitable.
All sides in this debate acknowledge that the U.S. has long needed easier access to health insurance. This need has gained urgency for the many Americans who are fearful of losing their employer-sponsored insurance in the midst of a recession. Unfortunately, the President's plan will not only endanger the U.S. economy, but millions of patients as well.
