Where are all the liberals' "good Muslims"?

I’m just now getting back to this story which has more or less stopped in its tracks when it comes to CBS and the rest of the state-controlled news media.

The story of network TV reporter Lara Logan and others being assaulted and intimidated in Tahrir Square were obvious under reported so as not to upset the Obama administration's narrative about the “freedom-loving” ragheads in that wonderland called Egypt.

There is a major truth in this nonetheless--People’s Exhibit 263..... liberals will get you killed:

(NY Post) — “60 Minutes” correspondent Lara Logan was repeatedly sexually assaulted by thugs yelling, “Jew! Jew!” as she covered the chaotic fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo’s main square Friday, CBS and sources said yesterday.

Despite her experience in the field, including Iraq and Afghanistan, Logan (right) naively expected to be warmly welcomed by the democracy-bent “youths” fronting for the military junta that has suspended the Egyptian constitution, dissolved parliament and overthrown the government of Hosni Mubarak… without firing a shot.

She also made a grievous tactical mistake by dressing as if she was in America as she waded into the howling sub-humans in just one more Third-World shithole. Her riot ensemble included a strand of pearls (above).

Although far-left foreigner and Muslim apologist Christiane Amanpour of CNN also dressed ignorantly in 
Tahrir Square, she usually dresses like this when around Islamic men. 

 She went further several years ago and dyed her hair a severe Goth-black for just to lower her public profile.

Though confronted during the riot, she was not assaulted. 

I have the greatest sympathy for Miss Logan.

When this country stopped executing men convicted of rape, two signals were sent; women, you're on your own, and rapists… no more than 10 years, three with good behavior… IF you’re convicted. 

But if you’re a “white” female raped in a Muslim country, it’s 80-20 that the sub-human won’t questioned, let alone prosecuted, and it’s at least 50-50 that YOU’LL be charged under Sharia law with a crime.

There are two competing narratives concerning the attack on Logan; first is the official left-approved version carried by most of the left-controlled news media… essentially it was not big deal.

The second is as follows:

According to some internet claims Logan was intentionally separated from her “security” (sic) and camera crew, and surrounded by a large group of animals who stripped her naked while screaming “Jew! Jew! Mubarak’s whore!”.

Brutal details are recounted, but I’ve not seen the alleged cellcam video, however the claims is persistent.  

News media reports were that she was eventually “saved” by the Egyptian police and Egyptian “women”. 

Medically treated for her injuries and returned to the U.S., Logan is with her children and “vowing to go back to work within weeks.”

One source said she has an "incredibly tough constitution" -- and she is candidly discussing what happened to her. As one friend said, "She is going to be OK."
Friends tell us Logan -- a seasoned, tough and respected foreign correspondent -- is "unbelievably strong."

None of these “friends” have the right or qualifications to be assessing this poor woman.

Such comments are garbage, and make light of what she has suffered and endured.

“She is going to be OK.” ???

 Since 9/11 my default position on anything involving Muslims and Islamist nations is… “the ragheads did it”; then I wait for additional information.

So far I’m batting 1.0000.

The left on the other hand, insists that unless they have iron-clad “proof” from a left-wing source that Logan was indeed gang-raped, then they are “innocent until proven guilty.” 

Yeah that’s fine in a breaking and entering case on Keokuk Iowa, but don’t confuse that with sexual assault in Cairo. 

The news coverage makes it clear that liberals actually believe (being anti-American themselves, not to mention fifth-columnists and traitors) their politics gives them a pass in the Muslim world.

This would be fine with me if they were the only victims; but that’s not the case. Though most of us are not left-wing, idiot sell outs, like the en mass democrat party, the president and all the rest of his administration, we all suffer from:

• wars that we refuse to fight to win,
• a suicidal liberal belief that you can talk to psychotic mass-murders  
• constantly confusing right and left with wrong and right
• the “chickification” of American society
• the ruinous impact of the secular left which hates your faith, your patriotism, even your family and insists it is not a reprehensible crime to cut a baby apart in the mother’s womb because children are a “punishment.”

Aftermath

If the story that Logan was assaulted with unbelievable viciousness is only half true, she should be on medical leave for the one-two months and in intense reality-based therapy for her trauma. I base this on my 20+ years dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder as a volunteer with the VA and other organizations, and a lengthy private practice career.

If she is allowed to return to work without the appropriate treatment, her employer will be responsible; this woman is not psychologically capably of making any decisions beyond what time to get up and what to eat.

My experience tells me that she needed and should have been debriefed by an experienced professional once medically cleared. There is much research to indicated that a thorough critical incident debriefing conducted before the victim sleeps, reduces the chance of, and may even prevent a full-blown case of posttraumatic stress disorder. 

The last thing she needed was:

I believe that state-run news media—so cemented in a Utopian world in which we talked out enemies out of removing our heads—were shocked, shocked that a group of of Muslim men became somewhat unruly. And these news organizations have chosen to ignore for the most part the persistent reports of a vicious gang rape by Islamists.

Logan is a blonde American (and is not a Jew) and according to these wastes of skin, she got what she deserved as dictated by the Koran, the Muslim funny book.

During the coup last week, you’ll recall the jahadis tended to attack, threaten and bully defenseless women… Logan, Christiane Amanpour, and Anderson Cooper, who fled the country immediately after his jihadi ass-kicking. 

Thank God Shep Smith was safe at home.

It doesn’t matter who the sub-humans are; pro-revolution, students, drop-outs, anti-revolution… my cash is on the Muslim Bros which all liberals believe are only interested bystanders.

• Cooper  offered his “thoughts and prayers” on Twitter, saying he was "sickened and saddened by the attack on Lara Logan."
• And the first ex-president proven to be a fifth-columnist had earlier chimed in with: “I think the Muslim Brotherhood is not anything to be afraid of in the upcoming (Egyptian) political situation and the evolution I see as most likely,” Carter said. “They will be subsumed in the overwhelming demonstration of desire for freedom and true democracy.”

Much is true in this horror story…. CBS will use and abuse Logan as a brave example of the intrepid reporter, but will never admit its unconscionable failure to provide adequate security or (as I prefer) admitting that she shouldn’t have been allowed to be there in the first palace.  

But the number one truth is: liberals will get you killed.

Aidan… my kind of American

As a Marine, newspaper reporter and psychotherapist I’ve seen great heroism, bravery and near supernatural strength of character… In all these categories, I include five-year-old Aidan who was brought to my attention by fellow Jarhead, The Ninja.

“Just six weeks ago Aidan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was strong and pulled through his first round of chemo all while teasing his nurses and visitors. Although this was a small victory Aidan, unfortunately, must go through 2 to 3 more years of chemo treatments and everything that goes along with that.”

Aidan is fascinated with monsters… monster toys, monster masks, monster games and monster movies; he’s like a mini-Steven King with crayons… except with a high IQ.

He draws monsters and produces artwork at an amazing rate, especially considering he’s on chemo. As a result he has become an internet sensation because he’s selling his artwork on-line to help his parents pay for his medical treatment.

And that’s what touched my heart… this tough kid is a sterling example of American exceptionalism — guts, determination, innovation, adapting, overcoming and with unfettered free market capitalism. I ‘d rather have him in Congress than any democrat…. and at least one-third of the repubics.

Stories by San Diego County Examiner reporter Kimberly Dvorak about Los Zetas taking over two Texas ranches were attacked as unfounded by the usual left-wing suspects at the state and federal levels who are aiding and abetting the drug trade, kidnapping, rape and murder.

Word broke late last night that Laredo police have requested help from the federal government regarding the incursion by the Los Zetas. It appears that the ranch owners have escaped without incident but their ranches remain in the hands of the blood thirsty cartels.

Laredo Border Patrol is conducting aerial surveillance over the ranches to determine the best way to regain control of the U.S. ranches, according to the Laredo Police department.

The approximate location of the U.S. ranches are 10 miles northwest of I-35 off Mines Road and Minerales Annex Road. Just off 1472 (Mines road) near Santa Isabel Creek north of the city of Laredo, Texas.

Where is Gov. Rick Perry on this? Well, he manned up and declined a meeting with Lesbionic Homeland Security chief (and former AZ gov) Janet Napolitano after Obama refused to accept a letter from Perry concerning border security.

McChrystal’s crystal ball……..

First, I’m not convinced that Obama will sack Gen. Stan McChrystal after his unvarnished opinions of his Marxist CnC and others in his chain of command came to light in Rolling Stone Magazine or all venues.

From a common sense standpoint as was as General Kickass’, firing McChrystal is unnecessarily problematic. First, a shakeup at the NATO commander on the Afghanistan theater now is hardly welcome for Obama who would rather be golfing, going to ball games, and looking for tar balls, and than being president, let alone CnC.

After all America, he has to “clear his mind” and what’s good for Him is of necessity, good for us all. Non?  

Another reason for not firing Gen. Wisenheimer is that his “offenses” were more personal than professional. Anyone who understands fully the titanic struggle between Gen. Douglas MacArthur and President Truman realizes that the McChrystal flap “does not rise to the level of impeachment” as the dimocrats used to say about everything Bubba Clinton did in and out of the Oval Office… and with his hand on the Bible or, uh, elsewhere. 

MacArthur wasn’t just “airing dirty laundry”… he was damned near conducting his own war in Korea and ignored POTUS in a manner unprecedented in U.S. history; even if Truman had wanted to stay his hand, he had no historical or Constitutional choice. Civilian control of the military was at stake.

This doesn't come within a BP oil spill of that Constitutional dilemma.

But from my POV, I hope McChrystal is sacked by the cocktail hour tomorrow. My opinion has nothing to do with the rarified atmosphere of “the war room”… it has to do with the troops on the ground… the real heroes in this drama who always get third and fourth billing.

McChrystal was infuriatingly devoted to Obama’s ROE—“rules of engagement”—for our troops which literally means, do not fire unless/until your are bleeding.

The only person who seems to have adhered complete ROE was Lt. Michael Murphy, the Navy SEAL who did not kill the Afghan civilians who stumbled on this team’s location in Afghanistan and for that decision received the Medal of Honor and a first-class funeral… along with those of two of his Operation Red Wing teammates.

“(McChrystal) has ordered convoys to curtail their reckless driving, put restrictions on the use of air power and severely limited night raids. He regularly apologizes to Hamid Karzai when civilians are killed, and berates commanders responsible for civilian deaths. "For a while," says one U.S. official, "the most dangerous place to be in Afghanistan was in front of McChrystal after a 'civ cas' incident." The ISAF command has even discussed ways to make not killing into something you can win an award for: There's talk of creating a new medal for "courageous restraint," a buzzword that's unlikely to gain much traction in the gung-ho culture of the U.S. military.”

But however strategic they may be, McChrystal's new marching orders have caused an intense backlash among his own troops. Being told to hold their fire, soldiers complain, puts them in greater danger.

"Bottom line?" says a former Special Forces operator who has spent years in Iraq and Afghanistan. "I would love to kick McChrystal in the nuts. His rules of engagement put soldiers' lives in even greater danger. Every real soldier will tell you the same thing."

"Patrol only in areas that you are reasonably certain that you will not have to defend yourselves with lethal force," (command’s) laminated card reads. For a soldier who has traveled halfway around the world to fight, that's like telling a cop he should only patrol in areas where he knows he won't have to make arrests. "Does that make any f**king sense?" asks Pfc. Jared Pautsch. "We should just drop a f***ing bomb on this place. You sit and ask yourself: What are we doing here?"

So, I’m relying on odds here; I believe that Obama is no more versed in his role as CnC now than he was his first day as a community organizer for ACORN… so chances are, his replacement for McChrystal might be slightly better (for the troops).

As far as getting people dead for no reason, no one could be worse for our guys unless Obama appointed someone from Code Pink, or dug up John Murtha.   

So, there’s the possibility that a combat leader will be selected who will flatly oppose the idiocy of The Fighting Peace Corpse and demand that we effing win the damned thing.

Besides, McChrystal is a life-long dimocrat and admits that he voted for Obama; he should be sacked just for that.

Once again my fellow patriots…. I cannot urge young Americans to enlist and die for this country, this Commander in Chief, this despicable Marxist government that it trying to destroy America.

Had Obama continued to say, read a story to school kids, at least he would have accomplished something. Instead, he did nothing, then made an Earth Day speech and then played golf and maybe called Vera in the Caribbean for all I know.

Education: Quietly last September the House voted to cut banks and student loan giant Sallie Mae out of most of the $92 billion college student loan business, and give it the Education Department.

Said House Education Committee Chairman George Miller, a Democrat, "We must not waste this opportunity to fix America's broken health insurance system and make college much more affordable, at no cost to taxpayers."

No one who ever attended a day of college would believe that having the federal government involved would ever save money. More importantly, this means that in addition to socialist and communist—controlled banks, insurance companies, car companies and in one way or another most aspects of the federal government, education will controled via purse strings.

If the White House controls students loans, it will largely control the type of person who gets into college. Loans for the few conservative colleges will be turned down and admission clerks will be looking for the “right” classes, activities, and politics of the applicant.

Minority/affirmative action populations will skyrocket as the doors are thrown wide to the more easily controlled diversities who seek “social justice” rather than good paying jobs.

Perhaps your liberal sister-in-law isn’t concerned about real diversity in college, because she thinks it has to do with skin color.  Well, what about medical school?     

What happens in a nation where health care is already controlled by the people who brought Chicago the Olympics, and then they control who gets into med school? 

We had a recent example of that in Maj. Nidal "I can't wait to join you in the afterlife” Hasan, M.D. who was pushed along by government handlers who recruited him, educated him through med school, commissioned him (despite his being a radical Muslim with terrorist ties)… and then unleashed him to kill 14 and wound 30 others.

That’s why I don’t like liberals… they’ll get you killed.

(Washington Times)- The U.S. intelligence community policy on killing American citizens who have joined al Qaeda requires first obtaining high-level government approval, a senior official disclosed to Congress on Wednesday.

Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair also said killing of a U.S. citizen must meet certain criteria: "whether that American is involved in a group that is trying to attack us, whether that American is a threat to other Americans. Those are the factors involved."

In other words, just like when Clinton was informed our spooks had OBL green-lit, the jackass from Arkansas rose to his full draft-dodger height and said, “pass.”

Result: 3,000 dead.

Now under a Marxist, fifth-columnist CnC Obama, even American traitors, like Abu Mansour Al-Amriki formerly Omar Hammami(shown above), of Alabama and now in Somalia, do not qualify for a 7.62 x 51mm M118LR Long Range between the running lights.

It also reminds me of the time the state-run news media tried to pillory President Ronald Reagan for not being awakened when in 1981 two U.S. F-14s, 60 miles off the coastline of Libya, shot down two Libyan jet fighters that attacked them.

Reagan shrugged and simply said that presidential authorization was unnecessary for American troops to get permission to defend the United States. 

Ahh, those were the days.

When that attack occurred I was rather surprised at the Libyan audacity; what the hell were they thinking? Five years later Reagan authorized a bombing and missile strike against Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi and put one right on his shag carpeted-prayer rug.

His kid was killed… sucks to be them.

Heard much from Gaddafi recently? Japanese, Italians, Germans?

Lesson learned.

But WWII was the last war we fought to win.

Now look at North Korea, and every two-bit, tin-pot dictator in the world as well as a 10 million 7th century ragheads who defy the United States at every turn. They known there will be virtually no consequence, and besides... they’re willing to die anyway.

Oh, and that the President of the United States now agrees with them.

Our entire intelligence community, our professional special ops troops, our Marines, airmen and sailors have been told and shown that this government will bend over backwards for a fanatical enemy that executes our POWS, yet will prosecute them for defending themselves and fighting this war.

After all, as Army Chief-of-Staff General George Casey said, “We have to be broad enough to bring in people from all walks of life. As horrific as this (Ft. Hood) tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.”

Could anything be more plainly said?

And what happened to all of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan’s superiors up to an including Casey, after 14 corpses littered the base and 30 more were wounded?

• The Army has told some of the psychiatrists who supervised Fort Hood shooting suspect Nidal Hasan that it's investigating them — and they could face punishments, from letters of reprimand to court-martial.
• The Army said it's going to decide whether the doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center "failed to take appropriate action" against Hasan and were "derelict" in their duties.

What about the non-medical base commander? And on up, and on up. This was not some administrative failure of a psychiatrist's “duty to info” of a potential threat.

The was a complete and utter failure of the United States Army to protect its bases and its troops from an enemy saboteur. Pearl Harbor writ small.

But what do you expect:

After decades of terror, does literally allowing the enemy to kill U.S. citizens on American soil rise to the level of impeachable offense?

Now, everyone should be saying it, for they have good reason. And unlike anything Obama says, we can prove it.

First, a few bullet points:

• The One refuses to act on the Gen. McChrystal request to send as many as 80,000 “surge” troops to Afghanistan.
• Mac gets 20,000 troops 90 days later… the vast majority of whom are not full-time trigger-pullers.
• Surfer Boy is on vaca in his tropical paradise when at some point he was informed of the Dec. 25 Flight 253 attack… he made no statement and continued to snorkel, golf and hide from The Predator.
• His Homeland Security Designated Lesbian JJ Napolitano Incompetent declares “the system worked”; two days later she said “my earlier comments were taken out of context—the system failed miserably.” 
• Finally, four days days later, Obama announced he has ordered a “review” of the “watch” system. 

“The system has failed in a potentially disastrous way,” the president in his clichéd “the buck

stops here” speech said,  “It is my responsibility to find out why and to correct that failure.”

And where was Michael Leiter, Obama’s Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (since 2007)—the official most responsible for analyzing terror threats?

Skiing.

He did not return to the NCTC HQ until his holiday ended several days later.

• On Dec. 30 seven top CIA agents were killed in a suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan

So where were Leon Panetta—the least qualified director of the Central Intelligence Agency in memory—and Deputy Director Stephen Kappes? They remained on vacation until the first of the year.  Panetta was also falling down the bunny slopes somewhere.

And, above, all, as they collectively ignored the bombing and did nothing, how could they be assured that there was only one bomber, only one airplane?

Rush had a good point: “Obama says ‘the buck stops here’, but nobody’s here.

Moreover, if he doesn’t fire anyone, blame anyone, quit shilling for Obama care and act like a war-time president, but he is taking no responsibility whatsoever. If he doesn’t blame anyone, then he is not to blame. 

What Obama has succeed in was blaming the entire national security disaster and the worst day in the history of the CIA on… wait for it…. President George W. Bush.

Since the first string was AWOL, what about the bench?

“The White House's top counterterrorism official on Thursday said he, too, was partly responsible for the intelligence lapses preceding the Flight 253 terror plot.

"’I told the president today, I let him down,’ Deputy National Security Adviser John Brennan said during this afternoon's White House press briefing. ‘I told him I will do better; we will do better as a team’."

It gets deeper; the back story on Brennan from The Jawa Report:

“…. one of the (CIA) officers who got killed (10 days ago) had arranged an operation in 1998 that would have killed or captured Osama bin Laden.

Mr. Brennan was instrumental in preventing that operation from occurring. Instead he said the Americans should trust the Saudis to take care of bin Laden.

So it's a painful-- it's a painful death, but more importantly it's a death that didn't need to occur had Mr. Clinton -- Mr. Brennan, George Tenet, and Mr. Berger had the courage to try to defend Americans".”

And now Brennan is Obama's chief advisor on terrorism.

And what, pray tell, were the shocking surprises in Obama’s lame, tardy and utterly lacking national security speech?

He said today he was directing U.S. intelligence agencies to begin to do something many had assumed they were already doing: "[A]ssigning specific responsibility for investigating all leads on high priority threats so that these leads are pursued and acted upon aggressively."

And finally…..

Brennan again (in classical bureaucratese):  “Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is an extension of al Qaeda core coming out of Pakistan. And, in my view, it is one of the most lethal and one of the most concerning of it. The fact that they had moved forward to try to execute this attack against the homeland I think demonstrated to us — and this is what the review sort of uncovered — that we had a strategic sense of sort of where they were going, but we didn’t know they had progressed to the point of actually launching individuals here. And we have taken that lesson, and so now we’re full on top of it.”

Translation to Real American: We just realized that there are ragheads terrorists in the Arabian Peninsula. We were stunned to now realize that raghead terrorists can smuggle a bomb board a airplane and blow it up. And we had no idea that a lone raghead terrorist was able to do that with a plane over US soil.  

HS SECRETARY NAPOLITANO (once more): I think, following up on that, not just the determination of al Qaeda and al Qaeda Arabian Peninsula, but the tactic of using an individual to foment an attack, as opposed to a large conspiracy or a multi-person conspiracy such as we saw in 9/11, that is something that affects intelligence. It really emphasizes now the renewed importance on how different intelligence is integrated and analyzed, and threat streams are followed through. And, again, it will impact how we continue to review the need to improve airport security around the world.

RA translation: Let me be incredibly and egregiously redundant. Once again we didn’t realize that there could be one suicide bomber instead of the platoons and battalions of organized suicide bombers we’re repeatedly dealt with. Naturally, this new information is what we call “intelligence”, so we will blah blah, blah-blah, blah; Blah blah bla-blah. Blah.”
