Drew Dix's autobiographical story of "Rescue of River City" is nothing short of incredible and his actions over a period of three days earned him the Medal as well as the admiration of the entire Vietnam War special operations community. With him is my friend, fellow Marine and Gainesville Police Chief, Carl Dunlap.
