Nick Bacon - Vietnam
Former Congressional Medal of Honor Society President Nick Bacon holds a plaque to be dedicated in his honor in Gainesville. Mayor Glenn Loch made the presentation. As a 22-year-old SSgt, Nick took command of two plattons after his unit was hit hard near Tam Ky in 1968. Many men lived because of his heroics, many enemy died.
