The greatest speaker who ever spake sure wowed the world in “Hopenhagen” with the incredible imagery of phrases like:
- “The time for talk is over”
- "time for action, not words,"
- "we should live in the future, not the past"
And… he searched and searched until he could find someone to bow to… not his usual lick-the-shoes bow that he reserves for our greatest enemies, and not the head-bob his mouth-breathers insist was a “stumble” or perhaps a “weather balloon”—somewhere in-between.
And there is more good news from Jake Tapper—the only reporter left in the state-run network TV news-: Oh my- White House sounding resigned to defeat in Copenhagen
Breaking: Breaking: India, China walk out of Copenhagen. A much-need wooden stake has been drive into the heart of the Enviro-idiots and their attempt to destroy America.
In honor of this moment-to-be-cherished here’s The Goracle reading his “poem” which was obviously inspired by a a 15-year-old sophomore chick.
And quote for the day goes to Ralph Nader (the 1960s hysterical liar who succeeded in destroying a perfectly reasonable and safe U.S. automobile.. the Chevy Corvair):
“This is what I meant a year ago when I said the next year will determine whether Barack Obama will be an Uncle Tom groveling before the demands of the corporations.”
My good friend from the Mystic East, Jeff The Norton Driver, said this morning, “… I have been appalled by congress for years. My disgust is plumbing new depths on so many fronts. But it has become more than disgusting. It is now dangerous. The chickens will come home to pay the piper.”
The Senate is case-in-point. This must have been what Romans thought as Nero made his horse a senator... Minnesotans made one of a ass.
The world at large has indeed become theater of the absurd.... Tony Blair ran away to join the circus in Copenhagen yesterday and promptly announced:
“It is said that the science around climate change is not as certain as its proponents allege. It doesn’t need to be.”
Saying that the global warming science (sic) “might not be certain” when it has been wholly fabricated, faked and merely a facade for the greatest Ponzi scheme in history is akin to saying that Sen. Babs Boxer is “dumber than a post.”
Yet here is Britain’s former PM saying “don’t bother me with the truth, I have my mind made up.”
And to think I once considered him sane.
ENOUGH!
Let us reflect on the best and brightest. This comes from one of the leading milblogs on the net—Blackfive—which posts a regular feature: Someone You Should Know; it contains accounts of courage and sacrifice by our troops.
Marine Lance Cpl. Richard S. Weinmaster has entered the honored realm of our greatest heroes:
In the heat of an ambush in Afghanistan's most lawless province, 19-year-old Lance Cpl. Richard S. Weinmaster threw himself in front of a grenade to shield other marines in his platoon.
Weinmaster was critically wounded by the blast.
But the bloodied Nebraska native stayed in the fight, firing his machine at the enemy position until he collapsed from his wounds.
Looking back at the July 8, 2008, engagement, Weinmaster says,"I didn't do anything special. Everyone on my left and right would have done the same thing. I was just in the right place at the right time."
For extraordinary heroism while serving as automatic rifleman, Weinmaster was awarded the Navy Cross.
For comparison, here’s another young American….
"I Pledge to be of service to our president."
