At The Pie this a.m. the regulars held forth on many topics including a local shooting and Barry, still unsure about that pesky Gaddafi, going on ESPN to make his picks in the NCAA tourney before heading on vaca to Brazil.
But most of our time was spent wondering what iodine has to do with radiation and where you can get some… the former, not the latter.
And of course Women's History Month.
I was surprised; has it really been a year since the last National History Month, which comes on the heels of the National Black History Month? I remain surprised that National Black Women's History Month isn't in there somewhere.
Here's the official blather for this year's gala celebration:
The theme of this Women’s History Month is “Our History is Our Strength.”
"The achievements of women range from inventing the windshield wiper to writing Harry Potter, to discovering radiation (good… it’s their fault). Throughout the past couple of centuries, they have also included countless 'firsts,' from voting to entering various high-power positions, to flying across the Atlantic."
I know how choked up I become when I think of windshield wipers and how they pulled us from the the primordial bog to stand upright; and Harry Potter... I've never been able to adequately described the impact J.K. Rowling her mind-numbing books about English gay boys have had on the great thinkers of our time.
Thank God for the comic relief of these so-called "firsts" that the so-called minorities claim for themselves, accomplished by first stacking the deck to exclude everyone else.
- First Puerto Rican Jewess to roll at 300 game in sanctioned bowling!
Does anyone really care? Even Puerto Rican Female Jews?
Liberals and other minorities are the most insecure, self-involved, narcissistic people on the planet. They live in the past and spend most of their time trying to find someone or something on which to blame their failures, confusion and poor decisions; and most of the time that reason is the same one: white males.
Yes, throughout history we've been so busy keeping everyone down that it's been very difficult to find the time to invent everything, fight all the wars, make the peace, invent, build and run everything, and control the entire world and all its people.
Only the hopelessly shallow would come up with something like "Women's Studies" or "Black Studies".... which is essentially requires a minority to study how wonderful and special they are. Yet somehow they are still not wonderful and special enough to keep from being constantly thwarted, undermined and discriminated against by men... white men... old, white, men.
In a truly marvelous little cottage industry approach to higher ed... women can now study women to get a degrees in women’s studies, and then learn to teach women about women.... their folks must be so proud and impressed by such a B.A., especially with its $60,000 price tag.... and especially by the old, white,
maleidiot who paid for it.Yes, nothing says "take me seriously" like a masters degree in Women's Studies from Smith, unless it's an M.A. in W.S. from South Western Idaho State. Why, here's two Women's Studies profs now:
And even after all this man-hating, lesbian-approved propaganda these chicks still believe the ole "women make only
80,70, 60 cents of each $1.00 a man makes." Yes, every year their plight deepens, despite all the education and gender bias on their behalf and all their innate superior intelligence and ability, they still cannot get ahead. This particular argument is crudely pathetic because it's not even original; they stole it from black whiners... "jest anotha brotha bein kep down by the Man."
If you want to have a good laugh... sit in on a city council meeting where a minority-biased contract is sought by three firms... Black, Hispanic and Woman-owned; talk about hilarity in the public square.
The "winner" is the most helpless, downtrodden, hopeless and patch-worked company in town... that makes your town or your school or your street the same... think about it.
It's like we used to say in 'Nam... "remember your equipment was made by the lowest bidder"; only in Minority World, the job goes to the most competent whiner.
We've gone from Rosie the Riveter to Rosie O'Donnell, Betty Crocker to ex-con Martha Stewart, and Women's Professional Basketball ... bwwwahhaaa.
Report: Military leadership is too white, too male
And of course the ultimate payoff.... the one-way ticket to a body bag for little girls in our diversity military--powered by a politically-correct operating system.
Yes, females been held down for so long by white men in a nation so unfair... the only remedy is being good and dead--just like the men.
Boy, there's a lot of firsts there.
