JERUSALEM — The Egyptian government has information a diplomat at the U.S. embassy in Cairo secretly met yesterday with a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the nation’s major Islamist opposition group, WND has learned.

The topic of the meeting was the future of Egypt following the “fall” of President Hosni Mubarak, an Egyptian intelligence official told WND.

Cairo is charging that the Obama administration has been encouraging the protests rocking Egypt and targeting the rule of Mubarak, a key U.S. ally in the Middle East.

So let’s get this straight… America backs regime change to hand over our major Arab ally to the Muslim Brotherhood?

(ABC News)- Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of the dangers of an Iranian-style regime led by Islamic extremists taking over in Egypt.

Mr Netanyahu was speaking at a joint news conference in Jerusalem with visiting German chancellor Angela Merkel. He said he was being briefed on developments in Egypt every 30 minutes.

He said in a time of chaos an organised Islamic group could take over as had happened in Iran and other places.

He said it was not extremists who had provoked instability in Tunisia or Egypt, but there was a fear they could exploit the political vacuum left behind.

Mr Netanyahu has ordered his ministers not to make any remarks on what is happening in Egypt, which is Israel’s closest regional ally, saying that Israel’s aim was focused on maintaining stability and security in the region.

The People Have Spoken, and only a fool on either side of the aisle would doubt the effectiveness of the Tea Party Movement. But the Tea Party’s power is grass roots, it doesn’t run the RNC which is currently under the control of an idiot who should never have held the position in the first place.

Michael Steel was never anything more than RNC’s affirmative action hire… the GOP queasy 2009 response to the election of the First Halfrican-American president the year before.

While Steele served as Maryland lieutenant governor and is thus better qualified to be president than Obama, that was no reason to put him in charge of the stumbling, bumbling idiots in the RNC.

They needed R. Lee Ermey, but got Gomer Pyle.

Back to POTUS… The only voice close to Col. West’s or The Gunny’s is Sarah Palin; the most ardent, effective and tireless national voice against Obamanism is coy about a run and necessarily so… the dimocrats remain beside themselves, hoping against hope that she’ll be the nominee.

But the longer she plays cat and mouse, the longer they will prepare Obama for the wrong opponent.

Unfortunately, the GOPOTUS pool is so shallow that Newsweek reports that John Huntsman Jr., Obama’s ambassador to China and former Utah governor, looks to be moving into what he sees as an opportune vacuum; it’s a vacuum because the GOP sucks.

A very, very moderate Republican member of Obama’s far-left administration running against Obama in less than two years?

Hardly.

Who knows why Newsweek is floating this now and why Huntsman went along with I, it probably has more to do with his position now that what may happen in 2012.

The elites in the GOP still control the party and most of them learned nothing from the 2010 elections. They are so used to being out of power I think they actually prefer it… always more than comfortable when “reaching across the aisle”.

That’s not leadership, that’s how to become a multi-millionaire on a job that pays $160K, nothing more. Witness:

Navy opens investigation into raunchy videos

Washington (CNN) -- The Navy has opened an investigation into how a series of raunchy videos, full of sexual innuendo and anti-gay remarks, were produced and shown to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise while on deployment supporting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Navy spokesman Cmdr. Chris Sims said the videos, which were shown to the crew in 2006 and 2007, are "inappropriate."

The videos feature a man identified by two Navy officials as Capt. Owen Honors, right, who at the time was the executive officer, or second-in-command, of the Enterprise. He recently took command of the carrier, winning one of the most coveted assignments in the U.S. Navy, which has only 11 aircraft carriers.

Honors is shown cursing along with other members of his staff in an attempt to demonstrate humor, according to videos. There are also anti-gay slurs, simulated sex acts, and what appear to be two female sailors in a shower together.

Smoke rises from South Korea’s Yeonpyeong Island after being hit by dozens of artillery shells early this morning, which killed two ROK Marines, and wounded 16 service members and civilians.

South Korean troops immediately responded with counter-battery fire and place its F-16 fighter jet squadrons on high alert. 

Last March, a South Korean warship went down in the waters while on a routine patrolling mission. Forty-six sailors were killed in what South Korea calls the worst military attack on the country since the war.

Obama response to the murderous attack: “ We will immediately consult with our allies in the region, including Japan and the Republic of Korea, and members of the U.N. Security Council to bring this matter before the Council.  I urge North Korea to abide fully by the resolutions of the U.N. Security Council and to refrain from further provocative actions.”

Former Vice President Al Gore is admitting that he was wrong about “first generation” ethanol subsidies, calling them “not good policy” and admitting his support of them were clouded by his presidential ambitions.

“It is not a good policy to have these massive subsidies for (U.S.) first generation ethanol,” said Gore, speaking at a green energy business conference in Athens. “First generation ethanol I think was a mistake. The energy conversion ratios are at best very small.

“One of the reasons I made that mistake is that I paid particular attention to the farmers in my home state of Tennessee, and I had a certain fondness for the farmers in the state of Iowa because I was about to run for president.”

Absolutely not a “mistake”… it’s called lying.

NBC will honor the Ground Zero Mosque developer Sharif El-Gamal as one of its People of the Year on Thanksgiving night.

In an interview set to air on Thanksgiving Day, Matt Lauer sat down with El-Gamal and discussed the “Park 51 Project.” El-Gamal, who was apparently pleased to be named one of NBC’s people of the year, seemed very comfortable answering questions. The excerpt released so far shows that Mr. Lauer gave El-Gamal a decidedly softball interview.

Not only is this raghead a tool of radical Islamist subhumans,  El-Gamal has a history of run-ins with the law. And… and, he earlier this month applied for a $5 million in federal grant money (read: your money) set aside for the redevelopment of lower Manhattan after the attacks of September 11, according to sources.

Got that? Almost a decade after 3,000 of of our countrymen were atomized on 9/11, there is no memorial, but there soon will be a garbage religion mosque which will be used to raise money for and recruit terrorists directly in Ground Zero (and don’t give me any nit-picking crap about two blocks from “ground zero”… look at some pictures of two blocks away from the nuke strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and show me were people were safe.) 

So not only do these bastards openly ridicule our dead, and now achieve a gigantic psych/propaganda victory right in the heart of the Big Apple, “we” give them our money to do so.

Lastly…in TSA news:

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says it can fine individuals up to $11,000 for walking away from the airport security process. But will it? People in government say the fine is mostly a deterrent so that terrorists cannot back out of a security check once it starts.

The TSA said it has yet to fine a traveler for not completing the screening process, though it has levied civil penalties against passengers who have brought dangerous items to the security checkpoint.

And BTW… Glenn Beck’s right you know… this crying binge from the TSA on how they are being mistreated by we PASSENGERS is just the precursor to receiving the “protection” of unions, and as federal “agents” they become almost impossible to fire and are thus front line of Obama’s 2008 promise…

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

He is not motivated by any of the above; and besides that isn’t why or how he became president. The was real purpose and organization behind the plan to elect a “community organizer” (without a single, concrete accomplishment to his name) president was the ultimate destruction of the United States .

The fuel was money, astronomical amounts of money… George Soros money.

But is Soros the Oz-like man behind the curtain? No, just one of them—the most visible—in this country and around the world. Power and money go hand–in-hand;  power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.   

Soros and his spider web of organizations, non-profits, “charities”, foundations and other front organization, including environmental provocateurs and terrorists, known and unknown, are just one giant cell at work everyday to destroy this country and enslave you and your family.

If memory serves I first wrote about Soros, a Hungarian Jew, roughly two or three years ago, coming across accounts of his collaboration with Nazis in WWII; …that’s a place to begin: one of the most frequent visitors to the Obama White House is a traitor to his country, and his faith (if he had any) and heritage.

And Obama, like Hillary Clinton, worship communist Saul Alinsky, the father “community organizing and author of “Rules for Radicals” and Chicago mob hanger-on. Obama became an Alinsky community organizer and Clinton, Sec. of State and self-confessed “progressive”, wrote her college thesis on Alinsky… a very favorable one. 

None of this “just happened” and America is in a fight for its very existence.

Winning in 2010 is not enough… not by a damned sight

Down to the last hours and the dems are on their knees, hoping that there’s change for them… they fell for the biggest political scam in history, turned on their neighbors, sold the country out to communists and lost the soul of their party (which has been rotting from the center since The Great Society.)

No sympathy here.

For Real Americans there are lessons to be learned in the next 48 hours ( just be prepared for any number of court challenges and law suits, as well as hundreds of thousands of progressive-voting zombies stumbling out of big city graveyards across the country.)

Beware of SEIU, Indian Reservation and Chicago-based Zombies

The lessons are simple…. this is a right-center conservative, Judeo-Christian, patriotic, Bible-quoting, gun-carrying country—America, for short.

• We do not “celebrate diversity”, we tolerate it until the diversities decide to become… legally… one of us; otherwise, they can get the hell out and die somewhere else, on someone’s else's dime.
• “Moderates”(blue-dogs, “mavericks”) are people too cowardly to admit they are leftist bed-wetters and just want to be seen as “sensible” and willing to “reach across the aisle”. If you stand for everything, you stand for nothing.

The political lessons of this election and the two years leading up to it, abound:

• We are The People, the ones in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence… those people, the bastards in Washington D.C. work form us, temporary help; term limits are a must if we are to make any of these “tea party” movement inroads stick.
• We have allowed people like McCain, Graham, Pelosi, Banking Queen Bawney Fwank, and all the rest who have become millionaires on a job that pays $160K, to ascend to the ranks of royalty; Real Americans should therefore not be surprised that we have been told repeatedly by our “public servants” to simply “eat cake.”
• And our taking the country back from our domestic enemies is directed at the GOP elite, like the probable next Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner; this empty suit is already saying that he can’t wait for Obama to move to the center so he can go all bipartisan… sound familiar? McCain 2008 on the bus again to disaster. If Boehner has already become tone deaf it is up to us to vote his ass out in 2012 along with his fellow traveler, Barry.

Whatever our electoral gains come Wednesday, they are not enough. Once the polls close we must immediately demand that the incoming Congress stop every federal expenditure that is not critical to our defense, our economic well-being and our recovery from 60 years of control by left-wing jackals. The second phase must be to repeal, roll-back, sunset and zero-fund virtually everything this president and this congressed rammed through since Jan. 20. And third, articles impeachment must be immediately brought again Obama and the top congressional democrats and republicans responsible for bringing us to the precipice of disaster. Failure to protect and defend the Constitution will serve as “the high crime and/or misdemeanor” until specifics can be enumerated.

Failure in any of these endeavors will mean that our left wing enemies will only go to ground, heal, regroup with foreign money and troops, and then come at our children and grandchildren.

This is not rocket-science; this is war and has been since I was in my teens…. it just took them this long to literally overthrow our government.

And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

If you do not think I mean this literally, you’re mistaken, you so-called baby-boomers who played a big part in electing these swine.

You’re now in your late 50s to 70 or so and need or soon will require increasing medical care and treatment; if we do not repeal socialist health care… you have already been told by Imam Obama you just need to “take the pill” and die, because you will be refused the treatment necessary to keep you this side of the grave.

You want to live, get of you damned knees and stand for something… something American.

Perhaps my hippy, left-wing peers will finally understand late in life, when their ox is gored, that elections have consequences.

In my mind we will have failed miserably if we do not come close to moving this country back to 1950s morals, ethics, faith, patriotism, love of country and leadership in the world which we enjoyed as children.

Like Don said the other day… “back in the days when if somebody attacked us, we killed them immediately and dared anyone else to take their chances” with the greatest country on God’s green earth.

Our domestic enemies paid $15,200 a person to listen to this bilge… that and a begathon that will require high-end donors not just to “write checks” but also to “lift up people’s spirits and make sure that they’re not reacting just to fear.” Does he mean the part about death panels to kill granny, health insurance increases of 50%, unemployment at 12%, or voter intimidation, fraud and outright Mafia/Chicago organized crime in 6,5,4,3,2…..

The most important election of your life is only a couple of weeks away folks, and the leader of the opposition is deadly desperate and completely out of his enormous skull. 

Here are just a few of his high crimes and misdemeanors:

• Refusal to protect all U.S. citizens, regardless of race.

• Suicidal federal spending, soaring deficits, record unemployment, and crushed economy that has grown steadily worse since Democrats took charge in 2009

• Failure to pursue winning the war in Afghanistan, while American our best and brightest continue to die

• Law suits filed against Arizona for protecting its citizens from foreign criminals because the Marxists refuse to; siding with Mexico in its rhetoric against the rule of law

• Refusal to accept the fact that Islam and nothing else is the major source of terrorism and that we are at war with Islam. (Tip of hat to Borderfire Report.

Jessica Simpson’s daddy, Joe,  refused to allow a singing group of our combat vets, the 4T Troops,  to perform on his daughter’s PBS special because their camouflage attire wouldn’t look good on camera next to the decked-out beauty.

In the midst of a vicious and unforgiving war that costs American lives every week, remember our troops who have earned our undying respect just for enlisting… and yet have performed at the highest levels of combat, suffering and death without leadership or a plan or often… without near enough thanks and respect.

Keep them in your prayers and make a point of doing something to support them… more than just a bumper sticker.

My good friend and fellow cynic, TOL, forwarded the below observation on Bob Woodward's recently released new book,  "Obama's Wars", and how it paints the CnC as not only incompetent, but tone deaf and possessed of such a massive ego, that even black holes cannot resist the Obamaforce.

"During an interview with Woodward in July, the president said, 'We can absorb a terrorist attack. We'll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever. .. we absorbed it and we are stronger'."

This space has always insisted that this failed "community organizer" is unfit to visit the Oval Office, let alone pretend to be president. Anyone who failed to see that when he first emerged, backed by committed terrorists, revolutionaries, Black liberationist, communists and radical left unions, purposely  ignored the truth. They actually cast their vote under two conditions, the candidate was “black” and “hope and change”.

Woodward's chaotic behind-the-scenes expose only confirms my resolve to recommend that young Americans not enlist in the military during his administration... they will die for a traitor.

Yeah, I know, cocktail party liberal whose best work was never anybody's "best work."

But if you missed his recent appearance on Charlie Rose, you owe it to yourself to go to the Charlie Rose website and pull up that episode.

In his new book "Obama's Wars," Woodward throws the president under the bus like nobody has ever been thrown under the bus.  The thrust of the book (and the Rose interview) is that the Pentagon and the President are passing each other like speedboats in the night and so far from each other as to barely see the other's running lights.

That probably will not surprise you.  But what might shock you (it sure as hell shocked me) was the obvious degree to which this display of critical mismanagement shocked Bob Woodward.  The same Bob Woodward that we can assume would have gladly butt-licked the President on any of the dozen or so stages at the inaugural balls in January of '09,  was so stunned by the Commander-in-chief's incompetency on all things military that it took an increasingly frustrated Charlie Rose the better part of the hour to extract the full measure of Woodward's apoplexy.  Each time Rose asked a pointed question, Woodward would try to put the chaos into some sort of perspective.....and then usually failed.

Everything from why the Pentagon refused to give the President any of the Afghanistan options he demanded OTHER THAN a 40,000-man troop surge to Obama's obvious petulant irritation at having to be a "war-time" president.to Gates' prior quote that it would be a "disaster" if Tom Donilon succeeded Jim Jones as National Security Advisor, as was announced last week.  A horrified Woodward described it all, but then went deer-into-the-headlights when attempting to find a rationale -- ANY rationale -- by which to explain it.

Finally, however, Woodward did manage to articulate the sum of all his fears.  He sees the world in general and this country in particular at a crossroads unlike anything we've faced in the past.  And the manner in which we are fumbling the ball apparently fills him with an impending sense of doom.  So much so that when asked by a friend if he saw his roll and that of the book as "a whistle blower," Woodward replied that, yes, he saw it just that way.
