Thank God the end of this year approacheth

Had a good Christmas with the Pettigrews and the McHorses as usual…. but it’s always bittersweet as we lost Mom on Christmas in 2001; difficult to believe it’s been that long.

We tell that to children… don’t wish your life away waiting until you’re “older” is … instructional.

The future, we tell them, will come soon enough and with a vengeance.   

My life seems to have been covered by ages 7, 15, 18, 21, 30, 45, 50… and after that it just seems like catching a train to the next stop. Sure 60, like all decade numerals, has a deeper impact, but then that is forgotten soon enough and in three weeks I’ll be older than my football number… older than a center, younger than a tackle.

It seems to me that the purpose of aging is to gain insight—introspection—and a decent memory which gives you the gift of perspective and the ability to quickly identify charlatans.

The incredible number of charlatans among us nowadays must mean that we are fast losing our ability to discern the snake oil salesmen, the preachers, politicians, poets and provocateurs from Real Americans; that, or we simply do not care to undertake the effort.

What kind of a society, populace, elects a president on the basis of race and the oh-so-critical “hope and change” , and believes that normal changing weather patterns will kill everyone and flood the earth? Well, the same society that insists that killing babies in the womb is a constitutionally-guaranteed “right”… while that the real problem in the world is AIDS.  

The Constitution clearly states that our rights are bestowed by God. If murdering a child is “right” then it follows that God must be pro-abortion?

I never heard that as a child, yet now it is the law of the land.

What have we lost…?; our immortal souls, and nothing less.

What kind of a society allows the Boy Scouts to be attacked, vilified and sued, yet protects, encourages and embraces NAMBLA—North American Man/Boy Love Association?

What internal necrosis brings a society to its nadir that proffers hedonism over heroes, encourages gathering only the low-hanging fruit, and tolerates the child-rearing mantra which preaches that just showing up is good enough?

We have come to accept without question that:

• Americans paid more taxes in 2010 than they spent on food, clothing and shelter combined… we worked the first 99 days of the year for free.
• Murderers, rapists and terrorists should be given free food, clothing and shelter, as well as health care, conjugal visits, therapy, hobbies, cable TV, drugs, education, attorneys, and marriage ceremonies and sex change operations.
• Borrowing and printing money, then giving it to the unemployed, leeches, illegal aliens and foreign countries is the path to fiscal sanity.
• Local schools should be run by the federal government… just like 99% of everything else in Americans’ lives—quick, tell me one thing in your life that does not in someway pass through the government and an attorney. 

A significant percentage of Americans hate Ronald Regan, yet love Fidel Castro, ridicule Roy Rogers and the Lone Ranger, but idolize perverts like Madonna and Michael Jackson, and are far more disturbed to learn that their child has smoked a cigarette than caught cheating on a test.  

Intermixed with all that is the loosening of morals, mens abdication of their leadership role in marriages, families and communities, and most importantly, the diminished role of God in our lives.

We have allowed the War on Christ to spread like a cancer, unabated:

… the continuing  war on Christianity and Christmas continues;  and we just turn the other cheek, bow and scrape, shrug and do all those other things that always made God so proud of us.

Sometimes I think there is not a more weak-kneed, linguini-spined, milksop group of people in the world than white Christians… but then I remember American Jews.

No, wait… what?

That last part isn’t true, Jews are much worse because they actually collaborate with the people who have vowed to wipe them from the face of the earth.

The UDA was formed by former members of the Socialist Party of America.

Smoke rises from South Korea’s Yeonpyeong Island after being hit by dozens of artillery shells early this morning, which killed two ROK Marines, and wounded 16 service members and civilians.

South Korean troops immediately responded with counter-battery fire and place its F-16 fighter jet squadrons on high alert. 

Last March, a South Korean warship went down in the waters while on a routine patrolling mission. Forty-six sailors were killed in what South Korea calls the worst military attack on the country since the war.

Obama response to the murderous attack: “ We will immediately consult with our allies in the region, including Japan and the Republic of Korea, and members of the U.N. Security Council to bring this matter before the Council.  I urge North Korea to abide fully by the resolutions of the U.N. Security Council and to refrain from further provocative actions.”

Afghan President Karzai refuted The New York Times story from yesterday that he had been holding secret meetings with a Taliban impostor.

The man pretending to be Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour–thought to be one of the most senior Taliban commanders was given diplomatic treatment for his role in the talks, including being flown on NATO aircraft from Pakistan to Kabul and escorted to the presidential palace for three meetings.
FOX News reported:

A man leading the Taliban side of peace talks with the Afghan government was an impersonator; an embarrassing revelation for Afghan officials who have promoted reconciliation efforts as the best chance for ending the war.

“It’s not him,” said a Western diplomat in Kabul intimately involved in the discussions. “And we gave him a lot of money.”

Former Vice President Al Gore is admitting that he was wrong about “first generation” ethanol subsidies, calling them “not good policy” and admitting his support of them were clouded by his presidential ambitions.

“It is not a good policy to have these massive subsidies for (U.S.) first generation ethanol,” said Gore, speaking at a green energy business conference in Athens. “First generation ethanol I think was a mistake. The energy conversion ratios are at best very small.

“One of the reasons I made that mistake is that I paid particular attention to the farmers in my home state of Tennessee, and I had a certain fondness for the farmers in the state of Iowa because I was about to run for president.”

Absolutely not a “mistake”… it’s called lying.

NBC will honor the Ground Zero Mosque developer Sharif El-Gamal as one of its People of the Year on Thanksgiving night.
Pundit Press reported:

In an interview set to air on Thanksgiving Day, Matt Lauer sat down with El-Gamal and discussed the “Park 51 Project.” El-Gamal, who was apparently pleased to be named one of NBC’s people of the year, seemed very comfortable answering questions. The excerpt released so far shows that Mr. Lauer gave El-Gamal a decidedly softball interview.

Not only is this raghead a tool of radical Islamist subhumans,  El-Gamal has a history of run-ins with the law. And… and, he earlier this month applied for a $5 million in federal grant money (read: your money) set aside for the redevelopment of lower Manhattan after the attacks of September 11, according to sources.

Got that? Almost a decade after 3,000 of of our countrymen were atomized on 9/11, there is no memorial, but there soon will be a garbage religion mosque which will be used to raise money for and recruit terrorists directly in Ground Zero (and don’t give me any nit-picking crap about two blocks from “ground zero”… look at some pictures of two blocks away from the nuke strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and show me were people were safe.) 

So not only do these bastards openly ridicule our dead, and now achieve a gigantic psych/propaganda victory right in the heart of the Big Apple, “we” give them our money to do so.

Lastly…in TSA news:

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says it can fine individuals up to $11,000 for walking away from the airport security process. But will it? People in government say the fine is mostly a deterrent so that terrorists cannot back out of a security check once it starts.

The TSA said it has yet to fine a traveler for not completing the screening process, though it has levied civil penalties against passengers who have brought dangerous items to the security checkpoint.

And BTW… Glenn Beck’s right you know… this crying binge from the TSA on how they are being mistreated by we PASSENGERS is just the precursor to receiving the “protection” of unions, and as federal “agents” they become almost impossible to fire and are thus front line of Obama’s 2008 promise…

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Aidan… my kind of American

As a Marine, newspaper reporter and psychotherapist I’ve seen great heroism, bravery and near supernatural strength of character… In all these categories, I include five-year-old Aidan who was brought to my attention by fellow Jarhead, The Ninja.

“Just six weeks ago Aidan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was strong and pulled through his first round of chemo all while teasing his nurses and visitors. Although this was a small victory Aidan, unfortunately, must go through 2 to 3 more years of chemo treatments and everything that goes along with that.”

Aidan is fascinated with monsters… monster toys, monster masks, monster games and monster movies; he’s like a mini-Steven King with crayons… except with a high IQ.

He draws monsters and produces artwork at an amazing rate, especially considering he’s on chemo. As a result he has become an internet sensation because he’s selling his artwork on-line to help his parents pay for his medical treatment.

And that’s what touched my heart… this tough kid is a sterling example of American exceptionalism — guts, determination, innovation, adapting, overcoming and with unfettered free market capitalism. I ‘d rather have him in Congress than any democrat…. and at least one-third of the repubics.

So here’s the deal, I want you to go to his website Aidan’s Monsters and buy some of his artwork or here for his T-shirts, mugs and such. All proceeds are directly applied to his medical bills. We cannot afford to lose this kind of Real American.

Greater security scrutiny needed for Muslims in US military

Hellava day… being trying to post this since 10 a.m.; some things might be dated.

With the following, I’m guilty of “burying the lead” (as it’s called in the news business) on the Fort Hood mass-casualty shooting.

I want everyone to know about their commander-in-chief and his compulsive need to make everything about him…. even the shooting of 43 people.

The world waited breathlessly yesterday waiting for the TV mutts to breathlessly report what WWOS… “What Would Obama Say?”.

Knowing he was about to speak of the execution-style, close range killings of at least 13 soldiers and civilian police at Fort Hood were slaughtered and over 30 others wounded, by U.S. Army Major Malik Nadal Hasan, a Muslim, he…:

• He spent the first two minutes of the four-and-a-half minute address in a light-hearted discussion of the “Tribal Nations Conference” on Native American rights he was attending. (I’ll pass on any speculation about how he should be using his POTUS time).

(OBAMA): “Please, everybody, have a seat. Let me first of all just thank Ken and the entire Department of the Interior staff for organizing just an extraordinary conference.”

“I want to thank my Cabinet members and senior administration officials who participated today. I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner (sic). It's good to see you.”

Is there anything more dignified than the President of the United States sounding like he’s presenting the MTV award for best thug-rapper? 

• Once again you stupid son of a bitch, no one “wins” the Medal of Honor…it’s not a game;
• and, there is no such thing as the Congressional Medal of Honor;
• and, Dr. Medicine Crow has never been awarded the Medal of Honor. But he was awarded the “Presidential Medal of Freedom”… you should at least get that right… you gave him the damned thing a few months ago.
• And… since you have also had the singular honor of presenting the Medal of Honor to the grieving parents of Army Sergeant First Class Jared Monti less than three weeks ago, is it too much to act that you at least know what you’re talking about? 

Michelle Malkin reports: “When he finally got around to the purpose for his public appearance, he gave an uninspired and rambling dissertation on the (Fort Hood) tragedy. Even then, he could not keep the topic focused on sympathy for the pain of others:

“I want all of you to know that as Commander in Chief, that there’s no greater honor, but no greater responsibility for me (emphasis his) than to make sure that the extraordinary men and women in uniform are properly cared for…”

And now, back to Religion of Peace News:

Starting now there must be a complete and exhaustive investigation of the Army (and not by the Army) on one simple issue: why was Hasan allowed to remain in the Army, let alone have contact with soldiers needing competent psychological care, let alone not be charged with several violations of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice. (Hasan shown left as a young lieutenant.

We all know the reason already, and it has cost 13 lives—probably more—and the severe wounding of dozens more.

• It should outrage all Americans that almost immediately there was an obvious attempt to portray Hasan, an active-duty Army Medical Corps psychiatrist, as anything but what he is… an angry, Muslim-centric mass-killer who supported suicide bombers—equating them with Medal of Honor Recipients—and their killing of US troops.   

Further evidence of the Army’s negligence, and criminal misconduct by allowing a Muslim fifth-columnist to remain in the military in any capacity:

23 March, 2003, Camp Pennsylvania Kuwait:

Muslim Army Sgt. Hasan Karim Akbar (formerly: Mark Fidel Kools) at a rear base camp before the invasion of Iraq. In a premeditated attack, Akbar threw hand grenades into a tent before sunrise when most troops were still sleeping. He fired his rifle into the ensuing chaos. 

He was convicted of the murder of Army Capt. Christopher Seifert and Air Force Maj. Gregory Stone. His first appeal review is now in process; if he loses his faces death by lethal injection. Read more here.

Not to fear, my Muslim enemies… the military hasn’t executed anyone since 1961. It is my belief that Akbar will eventually be released, just like the POWs at Gitmo. ‘Course I know you’re pissed too, if he’s “martyred” he’s a more valuable propaganda tool.

10 September, 2003, Guantanamo Bay:

One, Army Capt. Yusuf Yee (James Yee), a chaplain who converted to Islam after he came in contact with Saudi clerics during an Army tour in that country in 1991.

Given his background should Lee have been assigned to work with hard-corps enemies of America imprisoned in Gitmo?

Of course, you bitter, gun and Bible-clingers…. we would rather have our soldiers and civilians die than to take the steps to prevent Muslim zealots from infiltrating of our military.

Yee was caught red-handed with secret material and charged with sedition,aiding the enemy, spying espionage, and failure to obey a general order. However, all charges were later reduced to a single charge of “mishandling classified information” by prosecutors who cited “national security concerns that would arise from the release of the evidence.”

But Yee was alone… he was the leader of a spy ring.

Air Force Senior Airman Ahmad I. Halabi (at left in photo), an Arabic translator, was arrested at Gitmo, and civilian translator Ahmed F. Mehalba, arrested at Boston's Logan International Airport as he returned from a trip to Egypt with a computer disc of classified US military information.

Eventually Halabi was found guilty of possessing and transporting classified information, violating a general regulation, and lying to investigators. In September 2004, he was sentenced at Travis AFB a bad conduct discharge, 295 days confinement (essentially time served), and reduction to E-1 rank.

--At least six months ago Fort Hood killer Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades.

--Hasan had made “outlandish comments” about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and US involvement in them and that “Muslims had a right to rise up and attack Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

An imam from a mosque Hasan regularly attended said Hasan, a lifelong Muslim, was a committed soldier, gave no sign of extremist beliefs and regularly wore his uniform at prayers.

An unnamed source… a Muslim imam… said that someone, anyone, was a committed solider and held no radical beliefs? Even in the same story, AP knew this was far from the truth.

I’ll guarantee you that this impression of Hasan will not hold up for another 24 hours as the blogosphere, Glenn Beck, Rush, and a few newspapers try to get to the truth.

The responsibility for this reaches the highest levels of the civil and military leadership of the Army.

We cannot allow it to be whitewashed…. again.

About the CIA: I'm reminded of a story about a young Ben Bradley (note to all fifth graders and 68 million leftist Americans... Bradley is the now-retired editor-in-chief of the Washington Post during the Watergate scandal.)

Bradley was a young reporter for the WaPo in 1964; he had it from a good source in the Johnson Administration that Lyndon was going to sack J. Edgar Hoover after 40 years as director of the FBI.

After the story hit the streets, LBJ was so pissed off that a some young nobody journalist had monkey-wrenched his plans to get rid of The Hoov that he immediately appointed J. Edgar "for life".

Bradley had to wear that one around the rest of his career... in fact, right to this sentence--45 years later: he's the guy who got Hoover appointed until he died at his desk.

May 14 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama calling current deficit spending “unsustainable,” warned of skyrocketing interest rates for consumers if the U.S. continues to finance government by borrowing from other countries.

“We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”

5). Your parents gave you life and a hellava lot more... and you have to be told to "respect" them? Idiot.

6). Don't murder anyone; yeah, I know the democrats say it's "kill", but they're all hung up on that "death penalty" thing... they're ignorant because none of them read the Bible. This also means to protect the weakest of us... especially the unborn; why do I have to explain that?

Will Israel see it through this time?

Like a cuckolded husband, I've grown skeptical in my love affair with Israel's will to make war against the IslamoNazis who surround them.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing better the last three days than seeing dues-paying Hamas members dismembered in Gaza streets (left), and the occasional mosque turned to dust, but will Israel see it through this time?

I'm skeptical because the IDF attacked Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon in July 2006... but folded like a tent after a month and retreated. It was a great psychological victory for the ragheads who are willing to cannon- fodder millions of their own to eradicate the two Satans.. America and Israel.    

Peace will only come to the Middle East in the terms spelled out in the unconditional surrender or death of all IslamoNazi factions... in other words, never.

As always I checked in with Debbie Schlussel's blog who provides realistic reporting and commentary on all things Israel. She is in no way naive when it comes to this subject.

Meanwhile, the Bush administration has issued its usual limp support of Israel, and in the same breath stresses the need to stop killing the bastards so all can live in peace and harmony.

It's TV what's done it

We've go a long way down hill since the days when President Reagan wore a suit and tie every day in the Oval Office because he believed deeply in maintaining the proper image of the Presidency.

It seems politicians of both parties have largely abandoned the image of the most powerful man in the world for "the guy you'd like to have a beer with".

In an effort to even slightly improve their election chances (which is debatable), these nimrods go on all the TV talk circuit, and Saturday Night Live to be made fun of in an humiliating surrender of their dignity.

Thank God President Bush has largely bucked the trend to debase the office.

This is particularly bizarre behavior for Republicans... all these TV hosts, writers, producers et al, hate conservatives. And when the candidates accept the invitation to a electronic mugging, the left is only further convinced that the GOP is the party of lower I.Q.

Television has been most responsible for the degradation of formality, grammar, civility in society in general and in creating the low-hanging fruit preference among presidential candidates, specifically.           

When it comes to television, Richard Nixon is to blame for this more than unfortunate debasement of the office.

And he did it 16 September 1968 on the popular "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In" (the precursor of SNL)  with four words:

"Sock it to me?" Which was the well-know catch-phrase of the day.

But it was funny because the terminally stiff Nixon desperately needed something to warm up his demeanor and visage. Compared to Jack Kennedy on TV, poor Dick came off as a mortician. I mean he put two bowling lanes in the White House basement.     

And so it's gone for the last 40 years, much to our detriment. 

President Gerald Ford was a seen as a "good sport" for at least publicly "seeing the humor" in Chevy Chase ridiculing the President (an All-American center and NFL prospect from the University of Michigan) as an idiot and stumblebum.        

Until Obama, I thought Bill Clinton had reached new levels of indignity by first, appearing on MTV, sandwiched between rappers, strippers and teens simulating sex on the "dance" floor), and second, by answering the question from a 20-something female:

"Boxers or briefs?"

Like some "ah-sucks" hick he feigned embarrassment and answered "Boxers", and began the image of the Presidency circling the drain anew.

And who can forget the shades and the bad sax on the Arsenio Hall Show?

Of course we would soon learn that for Clinton, there was no such thing as bad sax in the White House.

Come to think of it, after the infamous blue dress (left) and all the rest, Obama's dumbass, hat-backward, brotha act may be a step up.

Presidential appointments can be a thank you, a gift or a good way to seal off your enemies and potential opponents and nay sayers... President Bush was most inept at this, assuming as he did that all his appointees had the country's and his administration's interests at heart.

Confirmation on voter approval of amendments in Florida and Arizona came earlier.

On a blog website, “Tread” wrote, “I hope the No on 8 people have a long list and long knives.”

A contributor identifying himself as “Joe” said, “I swear, I’d murder people with my bare hands this morning.”

Daniel Ginnes carried a banner declaring: "No More Mr Nice Gay." Brian Lindsey held up a sign billing Joseph Smith, founder of the Church of the Latter Day Saints, as a "prophet, polygamist, pedophile." Hundreds of others simply chanted: "Mormon scum."

Do you know a health teacher, physician, nurse who has told a patient or a patient's family, class that many male homosexual acts present a health risk, or can in fact be suicidal or even homicidal?

If so, you need to know about pending federal "hate-crime" legislation that would put all of the above "criminals" in prison for using their previously, Constitutionally-protected freedom of speech.

House Resolution 1592 and S.B. 1005 have been quietly marching through Congress while most of your neighbors watched American Idol. The House version might come to the floor vote within the next day or two, and has a good chance of passage.

Authored by far leftist democrat Rep. John Conyers, H.R. 1592 would support pre-existing "local, state or tribal hate crime" laws, make homosexuals a protected group along the lines of "... race, freed or color", would provide for enhanced punishment of those found guilty of such "crimes".

"Title 18 of the US Criminal Code, Section 2 (a):

(a) Whoever commits an offense against the United States or aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures its commission, is punishable as a principal."

Here's why the full force of this law could eventually come directly at you anywhere in the country... HR 1592 will provide "grants.. for programs designed to combat hate crimes committed by juveniles, including programs to train local law enforcement officers in identifying, investigating, prosecuting, and preventing hate crimes."

And remember... your local D.A. or police chief has never turned down a federal grant of any kind. 

Clearly, your pastor, doctor or you, as a "principal" could face prison in what constitutes the most serious threat to freedom or religion and speech in our history.

The Federal Thought Police are coming behind a vanguard of Homo Brown Shirts.
