Dem detractors Palin comparison....

The final remnants of objective pretense have been violently thrown aside by leftist wolf pack in its vicious attack on Sarah Palin and her in many ways, defenseless young family.

As predicted in this space a few days ago, this is entirely expected by anyone who has judged the despicable performance of the national media over the last 20 years.

However, I must admit to being surprised the by the vicious, absolutely mad frenzy with which the scum has lowered themselves.

The pregnancy of Palin's teenage daughter generated three front-page stories in a single day in the New York Times ... long the self-proclaimed America's "paper of record".

These are the same elitist bastards who lectured us that Bill Clinton's life-long sexual misconduct--up to and including rape--was none of our business, was "personal", and had no bearing whatsoever on his responsibilities as president.

Barack Obama has issued a completely fraudulent condemnation of such ad hominem attacks, while loosing his minions to eviscerate Palin where she is most vulnerable... he children. 

She has been criticized by the media slugs for campaigning full time (for four days) with five young children "at home"... which they point out, include one pregnant daughter and a handicapped infant.

Today Sally Quinn lead the attack. Quinn, the has been "journalist"--is most famous for helping destroy WaPo editor Ben Bradleee's first marriage with an adulterous affair, which began after he hired her as a Post reporter without a shred of writing experience.

As the often told story goes: "Can you show me something you've written?" asked Editor Bradlee. "I've never written anything," admitted Quinn. Pause. "Well," said Bradlee, "nobody's perfect."

And the schtupping began.

Other drive by female media darlings like the barely competent newsdwarf Katie Couric, are held out as leftist heroines who fit the feminist template of the successful American woman who has it all.

Yet Couric abandoned her children, Elinor and Caroline, aged 7 and 2 respectively after her husband's untimely death, to spend most of her time reading someone else's news copy... not to mention recently going to a war zone to help justify her enormous salary--the biggest waste of cash in CBS history.

Why wasn't Hillary condemned for her decision to put career, any career (or pursuit thereof) ahead of her daughter... at birth. Chelsea was born in 1980 and her mother went right back to work as full partner in the Rose law firm...  while dabbling in the cattle futures market.

Later, when Chelsea was 18 months, Hillary took a leave of absence from Rose to work full time campaigning for Bill who had lost his job and was trying to return as Arkansas' "Boy Governor".

The left never met an hypocrisy it didn't fully embrace.

Clearly, Palin is the new George Bush for America's rabid left.

Tonight, team McCain would be wise, not to mention gallant, to suggest she take the high road in her speech and leave to surrogates the juicy task of knee-capping the scum like the Chief Faggot of Representatives, Barney Frank, and the aforementioned Quinn.

One such surrogate, Fred Thompson, should be given an unlimited travel budget to stalk Obama and his henchmen from now until Nov 4. to deliver his devastating critique of the left in all its rabid mutations.

Truth... constantly repeated truth... is the best weapon there is in a participatory, democratic republic such as ours.

The politics of race and water

The GOP is so intimidated by cries of racism for any reason, no matter how preposterous, that the leadership has voluntarily derailed their own convention in favor of some empty, pandering gesture... over a hurricane that wasn't.

The right doesn't need in comedians, it's a daily laugh riot without them.

In a totally meaningless gesture, McCain forgoes the first day of the convention to "pray" and put the arm on the unsuspecting delegates for contributions for the poor "survivors" of a rainstorm whose only discomfiture was to take a long and unnecessary bus ride to North Texas.

They're now on their way back home, I suppose.

"Chocolate City" Mayor Ray Nagin, who also plays a meteorologist on TV, called Gustav "the mother of all storms" in a thinly-veiled move to put the honkies on notice.

Candidate McCain couldn't get to his check book fast enough... personally sending $25K to the poor "refugees" who weren't really.

Let us remember that nothing in government or especially politics is 100-percent altruistic; there is always some consideration of how any decision (or non-decision) will be regarded.

Only the Republicans have been cowed into such pandering to blacks. The dems have long accepted overwhelming black support at the polls as a given.    

Katrina changed all the rules... now every gust of wind exceeding 25 mph is given breathless, and sophomoric news media coverage and seems to have created a nation of stormophobes. (Remember, a great number of Americans were hoarding food and water and hiding in the basements in preparation for Y2K.)     

And if a storm threatens a black population center, Republican politicians stumble over one another trying to prove they're aren't racists.

And what do dem politicians do? Nothing. They know they'll get all the black vote no matter how they take blacks for granted and treat them like chattel.

Meanwhile, Obama--The Savior of All Black Folk--announced he wouldn't go to the Gulf Coast, because he didn't want to interfere with emergency efforts. "We’re going to try to stay clear of the area until things have settled down and then we’ll probably try to figure out how we can be as helpful as possible,” he said.

Which is almost exactly what President Bush said when he decided to not immediately go to New Orleans during Katrina, and you remember the outrage directed at him by blacks which was directed from the DNC.

John McCain did tour the Iowa floods... despite being asked not to because state and local officials didn't want its limited emergency personnel to be diverted to presidential-like security.

Essentially McCain told them to bugger off because he was providing his own security.

So actually it turns out quite balanced... if a GOP politician doesn't go to the disaster, especially involving blacks, he's pond scum, and/or a racist; if he does, his an opportunistic bastard guilty of making political hay from others misfortune.

But if a dem politician goes or doesn't go to a disaster, it's invariably the right thing to do. 

It's hard to get anything approaching an up-to-date estimate of federal tax money spent in New Orleans alone, but it seems to be $200 billion with no end in sight.

I would remind readers that by the time Katrina hit The Big Easy it was only a Category 2.

Why keep rebuilding a city built below sea level when the sea abuts the city limits?

Best lines on last night's multi-hour performance art.....

I seldom watch national conventions or presidential "debates" because they're all light and no heat, but I did see news clips and read about them online.

I did however tune it to see Clinton... no, not her... him.

His performance before she began speaking was pure Billy Jeff snake oil con.... he bit his lip in the several different ways he uses it instead of displaying real emotion, and mouthed "I love you" twice as Hil basked in the welcome; she artificially kept the applause going for about 30 seconds too long... her forte.

All the while he did this because he knew the camera was on him in tight close up; it was obvious because Hillary was acknowledging the crowd, not looking at Bill, seated a hard 90 degrees to her right.   

And in a flourish, he actually was able to tear up on cue... again, with the knowledge he was on camera.

Cold nights sweats.... if The One wins in November, one sure way of getting rid of the specter of Hillary and her goofy, bumpkin spouse for at least eight years would be to (especially with the help of a filibuster-proof dem congress) ............. appoint her to the Supreme Court.

Shudder.

I also caught a couple of minutes of pre-convention MessNBC coverage by Matthews and Keith Olbermann.

They make "Dumb and Dumber" looks like a Chekov play.

I am convinced that Matthews, disabled by four years as Jimmy Carter's speech writer, should qualify for employment in a sheltered workshop where he can be cared for and still be productive.

Olby, on the other hand, is simply a raving loon and long-term, in-patient care in a quiet and nurturing facility is the only appropriate and humane answer.

Socratic environs the only appropriate setting for The One: 

First, Obama got rid of the American flag on his campaign jet which he christened "O Force One", and then presented himself in Deutschland as a "citizen of the world", and then went on to redesign the Presidential Seal in varying shades of U.N. helmet blue before it was laughed off the stage; now he's outdone himself.

It's part of the memorabilia display, The American Presidential Experience, which will be open through the Democratic National Convention.

Tickets to the exhibit, which is closed to the general public Aug. 28 for security reasons during Sen. Barack Obama's speech, are available at the Invesco box office at $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.

Saturday's Wall Street Journal reports that  L&O creator Dick Wolf is going mano-a-mano with NBC/Universal suits over the $750 million syndication fortune he'll earn from the re-runs.

Wolf be purty damned smart.. he knows his audience for the five-show, 20-year- long franchise... he calls it's success... the "Triumph of the Familiar".

And as usual with such "Hollywood" lefties, there's a blatant agenda caught by Debbie: 

One way Mr. Wolf maintains this consistency is by making most of the victims wealthy white people, which he believes viewers are more interested in watching. He limits the number of shows containing minority victims, including blacks and Muslims, to four or five episodes a season out of 22 to 24.

That means, under Wolf's mandate, up to 83% of the criminals on L&O in a 24 episode season will be rich Whites. The lowest figure, based on the Wolf formula, can be 77%.

But--since "Law and Order" focuses on murders--here's a reality check, courtesy of the Manhattan Institute's Heather McDonald:

From 1976 to 2005, blacks committed over 52 percent of all murders in America. In 2006, the black arrest rate for most crimes was two to nearly three times blacks' representation in the population. Blacks constituted 39.3 percent of all violent-crime arrests, including 56.3 percent of all robbery and 34.5 percent of all aggravated-assault arrests, and 29.4 percent of all property-crime arrests.

Stephanopoulos' network was able to summon up all of 30 seconds for Tony Snow's obit yesterday; seems to be about the same for the rest, except FGox, of course which was dignified--like Tony.

Tony got a lot more attention on the LA Times' website, which the piece of crap rag refuses to remove (this is just a tiny fraction of such filth):
