Tommy Norris, USN/FBI
Recipient Tommy Norris is shown with friend Sara Pettigrew during the 2005 Patriots Dinner in Dallas. Norris' Medal of Honor Action was unfortunately portrayed superficially in the motion picture "Bat 21."
Terribly wounded in a subsequent Vietnam covert action, Norris' life was saved by fellow SEAL Mike Thornton who would recieve his Medal for his life-saving act.
Norris went on to become an FBI agent.
